San Francisco Bay Area branding and design firm Project6 Design has received a new honor from The 2012 Davey Awards, presented by The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) in recognition of the finest creative work from the worlds best small firms, agencies, and companies. Project6 received a Silver Award in the Charitable Organizations category for their website design for nonprofit the National Girls Institute (NGI), whose mission is to advance understanding of girls issues and improve program and system responses to girls in the juvenile justice system.
NGI is a federally-funded partnership between the National Council on Crime and Delinquency and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Project6 worked closely with both organizations on the website design, ensuring a smooth process throughout.
The NGI website was built with WordPress, an open-source content management system (CMS). WordPress is one of the most popular content management systems in use on the Internet, and it allows the NGI Team to update and maintain web site content quickly and easily.
Project6 is extremely honored to be recognized with a 2012 Davey Award for our partnership with NGI on this very inspiring website, says Esten Sesto, president, Project6.
