Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 26, 2011
MailChimp today announced an integration with Quickbooks, the leading financial software for small businesses. Now hundreds of thousands of Quickbooks desktop users will be able to create and sync lists from their Quickbooks account to their list in MailChimp. The integration also allows users to pass customer segments created in Quickbooks to MailChimp.
The integration works using a syncing application called Autofy, developed by Propelware. Users can set up specific lists in Quickbooks that they want to sync with MailChimp and Autofy handles all the hard work. By facilitating the segmentation of customers to specific groups like has purchased in the last 30 days, Autofy helps users send relevant, more targeted emails to their customers and clients.
We are very excited that Quickbooks 4 million users now have an easy way to create and sync lists into a MailChimp account, helping them make the most out of their own data, said Amy Ellis, Head of Integrations and Partnerships at MailChimp. Targeting campaigns based on purchase history is a great way to ensure that email communications are relevant and engaging for the subscriber. Were happy we can provide another integration that makes sending effective email campaigns a little bit easier.
This integration is the latest to launch as part of MailChimps $ 1 million integration fund. The integration fund aims to help third-party developers prioritize integrations that build on MailChimps email technology platform. This Quickbooks integration will join the roughly 100 integrations that have launched since the fund was announced in Q4 of 2010.
