New Clinical Research Blog Provided by OpenClinica

Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) March 27, 2008

Clinical research has a new voice in the blogosphere. The newly available OpenClinica Blog, located at http://www.clinicalresearch.wordpress.com, provides a forum for pertinent issues related to open source and standards-based technology for clinical trials and health research. OpenClinica is an open source software platform for electronic data capture (EDC) and clinical data management in clinical research.

Given the nature of OpenClinica, the blog will have a bias towards discussing EDC-centric issues, but also strive to cover topics with a broader focus. The bloggers who contribute will address topics from the perspective of business, technology, and organizational/community points of view.

The goal of the OpenClinica blog is to stimulate readers who are innovators and thought leaders at the intersection of these areas. Readers are encouraged to contribute comments and feedback to help create a truly open forum for discussion and debate.

The OpenClinica blog is located at http://www.clinicalresearch.wordpress.com.
