New PowerShell.com Webcast Explains How to Benefit From PowerShell and Windows Management Instrumentation

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) August 31, 2011

PowerShell.com, the online resource for Windows PowerShell users to communicate, collaborate and learn about the platform, announced a new episode in the PowerHour webcast series featuring popular PowerShell experts. The latest webcast in the series, Get the Most from PowerShell and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), will air September 7, 2011 at 12 p.m. CT and will be led by PowerShell MVP Richard Siddaway, the author of a popular PowerShell blog and the acclaimed PowerShell in Practice book; and the founder of the UK PowerShell User Group.

WMI is known as a powerful automation tool, but has historically been under-used because of its complexity, said David Fargo, editor-in-chief at PowerShell.com.
