Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 5, 2010

Dallas based Mediajuice Studios is releasing a series of tribute and teaching videos based on the late Blake Snyder’s “Save The Cat!” screenwriting book. Snyder, Hollywood’s most successful spec screenwriter, tragically died one year ago today of a sudden heart attack. Mediajuice is paying it forward by creating a series of inspirational videos highlighting Snyder’s ability to dissect the myth of movie structure.

Save the Cat! has become a bible of sorts for screenwriters around the world and is well respected in Hollywood as a reliable way to structure a movie. The book explains movies in easy to understand “story beats” and gives writers common sense methods for crafting a successful screenplay. Mediajuice is showcasing Snyder’s innovative ideas on some of the most beloved films of all time, in hopes that not only will the videos pay tribute to one of Hollywood’s greatest scribes but be a useful teaching tool to aspiring filmmakers around the world.

In one of Snyder’s archived Blog’s he had this to say about the popular cult classic film, Memento, Youll note when Christopher Nolan was recruited by Hollywood, they didnt put him to work making more Mementos. They gave him something they could do something with: Batman.
