SociView Global Beta Customers Announced: Dell, Zebra Technologies, and Reading Football Club

Wokingham, UK (PRWEB UK) 14 July 2011

With literally thousands of social-media accounts and instances across the globe, these companies were quick to recognize the value of the worlds first social-media-mapping application. SociView is enabling customers to gain a strategic view of their direct and indirect social-media real estate whilst benchmarking the quality, effectiveness, and influence of official and channel-partner accounts and social communications.

Already delivering new insights into their social-media activity, beta clients are realizing the immense potential of the application.

The challenge, as a large organisation, lies in governing the use of these channels, benchmarking internally which ones are proving most effective, and delivering more return for our marketing spends. SociView will give us this visibility across the organisation.

Zebra Technologies Europe Limited

SociView enables clients across all industries to see precisely where their accounts and instances are, country by country, and to see which ones are providing the widest reach and generating the most sales opportunities. Clients are able to drill down on specific topics, areas of business, and brand names to benchmark which social-media instances are most effective, and how to optimize and consolidate those that are not delivering a high return on activity. Large organizations undergoing acquisitions and mergers or those with a high number of stakeholders are able to use the application to identify and act upon non-compliant or dormant accounts.

SociView was developed by working closely with large international organizations to address issues arising from marketing across many different social channels. There was a lack of knowledge and awareness of where these organizations accounts and instances were, who was running them and what effect they were having. Because there werent any social-media tools available to help them take control, SociView fills that gap.

How SociView works

SociView collates a companys social accounts and instances into a single dashboard. These instances are then individually categorized, ranked, and rated to show relevance and impact on the brand.

The application then categorizes each instance, as official, endorsed, unofficial, or other. A custom-developed SociScore between 1 and 100 is automatically applied to show how each instance is performing. Companies can then benchmark their social accounts against each other to establish best practice, compliance, and corporate governance. SociView also measures performance against competitors social accounts.

New features are continually being added to the application to address client needs. The beta release now includes Tumblr, WordPress, SlideShare and other blogging platforms. A new SociScore Advisor helps users understand exactly how they can improve the scores for each account. Future development plans to enable clients to profile and segment their social audience will ensure this insight can be used to create targeted campaigns.
