Researchowl"s Viral Marketing Acid Test

Ms H Farmer and Mr M Doherty, owners of Researchowl.com have devised a plan to test the real power of viral marketing.

They have developed a blog called LaughWithResearchowl that already has over 70 funny jokes, pictures, cartoons and downloads received via email over the last couple of years.

They believe that everyone should ‘take time out to smile” and the LaughWithResearchowl blog enables people to do just that. The logic being who can resist sending a link to a site that makes them smile to their friends. After all funny content has a tendency to spread like wildfire across the Internet.

But the real test lies in the fact as to whether people will see enough value in the humorous content provided (and links to other funny sites) to look into who is behind it.
