Super WordPress Plugins was founded by a diverse team of programmers and IT professionals who needed somewhere to showcase their advanced WordPress plugin collection. They also needed somewhere to get feedback from users on what new plugins to develop and what to fix or change in other plugins. Heres a little bit of background about the current team.

Onirudda Odikare, Software Programmer

Onirudda is involved developing websites and web applications using XHTML, CSS (Blueprint), PHP (Drupal, CakePHP, WordPress), JS (JQuery), and MySQL. He is the lead programmer for SuperWordpressPlugins.com.

MD. Afsar Uddin, Software Engineer

Over the last 4 years, Afsar has developed a wide range of applications using various technologies based on C/C++, Java and PHP. He is acting as technical supervisor and providing quality control assistance.

Jeremy Biberdorf, Blog Management

Jeremy has previous web programming experience such as ASP, PHP and JavaScript, but currently focuses more on website management and marketing. He will be taking care of the blog and plugin marketing.

There are also plans to expand the team with more web programmers very soon. Extensive WordPress & PHP programming skills are required. Interested applicants can apply via the website contact form. The first WordPress plugin that the team produced is called Super Blogroll. This plugin is based off the built-in WordPress blogroll widget which displays a list of links, usually to external websites. The built-in blogroll does not offer much customization in the way of appearance and search engine optimization. The Super Blogroll allows you to customize how each link looks and behaves. It takes the blogroll to a new level.

Next, Super WordPress Plugins created an advanced version of the Refer-A-Friend plugin. This plugin gives visitors a quick and easy way to send a blog’s page to someone they know. The Super Refer-A-Friend plugin allows you to edit the default e-mail message and easily modify the plugin to accept multiple friends’ e-mail addresses. To prevent spam there is an option to limit the number of e-mails that can be sent and you can limit the message length.
