While reviewing ZipCloud the Online Backup Search editors found that ZipCloud performs well because it is easy to use and has a clean design. The review goes into detail about how the online backup works as well as the cloud storage. Overall the review is good, but their are a few criticisms about how the addons work and how the backup features are limited in the Mac version.

Online Backup Search downloaded and tested ZipCloud in order to provide a thorough review of the product. Steven Johnson, editor for Online Backup Search said, We like the way ZipCloud was developed. It takes advantage of cloud storage and online backup in the same product. They could make some improvements, but it is a very simple and great product. I would say that it a great fit for home users.

Steven talked about how the file sharing worked with ZipCloud saying it was easy to use and only required that the other users have a ZipCloud account.

One of the criticisms of ZipCloud is the cost for extra upgrades and addons.

According to the review, both Mac and Windows can use ZipCloud. There are significantly more options to the Windows software and the Mac software is left somewhat lacking.

Concluding the review Steven Johnson said, ZipCloud is different because they offer a sync folder for storing files between computers. This is a quick and easy way to give access to multiple computers by using only one account. We would like to see the folders free space increased but since the plan comes with unlimited backup, it is still a great deal.

New ZipCloud Mobile App Overview Released By Online Backup Search

Online Backup Search (http://onlinebackupsearch.com) is proud to release their latest guide that goes over the new ZipCloud mobile app. The new mobile app was released by ZipCloud earlier this fall. The overview by Online Backup Search covers the app’s device viewer, sync folder, upload options, media files and the app’s settings.

First the guide goes into the home screen and what people see when they first open the ZipCloud app. On this screen, people can see files on each of their ZipCloud connected devices. Under the phone overview, people can enable automatic photo backup.

Next, in the Sync Folder screen, people can see files that are shared among all ZipCloud computers via the Sync Folder.

The upload options covered by the guide helps users Create a text file, draw using doodle software, record voice memos, upload existing media, and take a picture from within the app.

In the media section the mobile app has 3 folders: My Photos, My Videos, and My Music. Each is a shortcut to all files of that type.

Lastly, the ZipCloud settings screen has a couple of settings that the online backup search guide goes over.
