The widget is an extension of YouLicense.com’s personalized music licensing store that any artist or band can sign up for and create on YouLicense.com. The widget, which is easily embedded in Web pages and social network profiles, allows anyone from fans to producers to listen to and license music via the YouLicense.com platform.

How it works:
In setting up the widget, artists designate which songs they want to offer for licensing. The widget then features that music with a “license this song” link next to each song. This link will take users back to the artist’s personalized store on YouLicense.com, where interested parties can close the licensing deal.
