MailChimp Announces Integration with Customer Analytics Platform

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 26, 2012

MailChimp today announced an integration with KISSmetrics, a customer analytics platform. KISSmetrics users can now incorporate the emails they send from MailChimp into KISSmetrics’ comprehensive tracking interface. Businesses can see when each of their customers receives, opens, and clicks on a link from within their KISSmetrics account, and how those email interactions impact a user’s experience in the context of other metrics.

KISSmetrics tracks a wealth of data across web, social, email, mobile, and offline channels. It allows a business to view an individual customer’s interaction, or to pull back and focus on the aggregate customer experience. Using this information, businesses can then optimize their offering to improve the way customers interact with their service and increase conversion rates.

Adding this integration lets a business leverage MailChimp’s wealth of email marketing features and services, such as attractive, responsive mobile email templates or advanced list segmentation, within the structure of an overall marketing plan. Businesses can then easily sync the stats from their MailChimp email campaigns into KISSmetrics to track email alongside other metrics.

KISSmetrics features include unlimited funnels that allow businesses to track how customers interact with designated points of contact and how the customer’s experience can be improved. KISSmetrics also features easy to manage A/B Split testing, and provides full user retention reporting.

MailChimp Announces Mobile Customer Relationship App Providing VIP Activity Alerts

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 28, 2011

MailChimp today announced the launch of a mobile app for tracking VIP activity. The app is called Golden Monkeys and is available as a native application for both iPhone and Android devices. The app keeps track of smart phone users’ designated very important subscribers (VIPs), sending push notifications to their mobile devices, alerting them when those special someones have opened and clicked on a given campaign.

There are times when many MailChimp users need to know if a given list member has opened that product launch bulletin (what does mom and/or that angel investor think of my new API integration? have they even read it yet?). Golden Monkeys means MailChimp users no longer have to dig through their list to find individual profiles to check this status. Its now sent straight to a mobile device via push notification.

The full feature set also presents real-time alerts, activity sharing, and subscriber profiles. Just flip over to “Recent Activity” on one’s mobile device, and there’s a Twitter-esque display of VIPs’ recent opens and clicks. Activity sharing makes it easy to email VIP activity to co-workers, keeping the whole team in the loop. Extended subscriber profiles feature member ratings, and member since information. Plus, a Golden Monkey icon appears on each users profile page within MailChimp upon Golden Monkey installation, making it a one-click process to receive updates and deem a user a “Golden Monkey.” All of this info is password protected, and its security can be augmented via MailChimp’s existing SMS security alert settings.

The app also features a search function, that lets people pick out their VIPs from within MailChimp by segmenting their list based on whatever criteria matters to each user. Users can sort by location using MailChimp’s geolocation data, or by member engagement or customer purchase history (with the use of MailChimp’s eCommerce 360 plugin). Users can then bulk-add these VIPs, and, for example, making it easy to have VIP lists for users located nearby, or users who have recently purchased an item promoted via email.

Setup involves download of GoldenMonkeys for Android or iPhone, and then a quick API entry, or Username/password input. There’s a quick and nifty way to enter in the more secure API key — just snap a quick picture of the API key’s QR code, and it’s good to go.

This release comes straight from MailChimp’s own Mobile Lab that has brought the world Chimpadeedo, Chimpadeedee, Pyow, and its mobile optimized web app. They focus on producing apps quickly, and iterating frequently. The Mobile Lab’s next big project is a new MailChimp mobile app to be released simultaneously on iPhone and Android.

MailChimp Integrates with Customer Analytics Application for eCommerce

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 23, 2012

MailChimp today announced the release of its integration with Custora, a customer analytics tool. Thousands of online retailers use MailChimp for their email marketing. This integration with Custora allows these businesses to better analyze their customers’ behavior, discover new ways to make customers happier, implement those insights, and in turn, make more money using MailChimp.

MailChimp is a powerful tool for anyone who sells something online. Regardless of scale, a business can create beautiful emails, and, with MailChimp’s eCommerce360 plugin, target emails to customers based on how frequently they open emails, what they’ve recently purchased, how much they’ve spent, plus many other options. Sometimes, however, a business needs a deeper understanding of what customers want, how they behave, and what’s actually going to make them satisfied over time.

Custora uses advanced statistical modeling and probability theory to help businesses learn more about their customers, boost revenue for certain customer types, and gain greater knowledge of how to boost sales. It gives small and medium sized businesses the sorts of tools and insights that were previously reserved only for data-crunching giants such as Amazon or Zappo’s.

“We’ve been long-time MailChimp users ourselves, and so it was natural to connect with another platform who shares our vision of making powerful, enterprise-level tools available to a wide audience,” says Custora Co-Founder, Jon Pospischil.

Custora helps businesses answer simple, meaningful questions about themselves and their customers. How much should be spent to gain a new customer? How much will the average customer spend over a two year period? What percentage of revenue is from new customers versus existing ones? Which types of email campaigns make the most money over time?

These sorts of questions can be central to a business’s success, and Custora allows users to dig into the numbers, test hypotheses and accurately gauge how different marketing plans are working. Businesses can then devote more resources to what’s actually getting the job done.

This integration lets MailChimp users continue to leverage their existing email marketing efforts, while incorporating Custora’s features. To get started, a business would use Custora to analyze customer behavior, and segment customers accordingly. They could then automate specialized email campaigns to be sent to those segments via MailChimp’s email delivery infrastructure.

The automation is a powerful piece for businesses. Custora can be set so that customers receive an email when they sign up, when they make their first purchase, every 30 days until they make a purchase, or any other configuration. Businesses can then test different messaging and contact frequencies to refine their email marketing program.

The result is a comprehensive, fully automated email marketing effort that is responsive to different customer types and behaviors. Customers who buy frequently will receive certain types of coupons on preset intervals, tailored to their more extravagant tastes, while customers who havent purchased anything in six months will automatically receive a different coupons or messages designed to bring them back into the fold. The various ways to segment and market to different customers are endless, and all email campaigns are sent automatically through MailChimp.

Custora provides industry-leading, predictive customer analytics for companies like Fab, Threadless, and Etsy”, adds Pospischil. “The new integration with MailChimp enables small and medium sized retailers to take action on the same insights – some MailChimp retailers are already seeing increases in profit per customer of 70% with the integration.”

Remaining Buzzinar Seats Limited After Successful Launch to Business Owners Who Want to Increase Average Customer Value

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) September 22, 2012

After a wildly popular webinar, Omar Martin is planning to close the doors to his Buzzinar program so he can service existing customers.

Buzzinar is a collection of software, WordPress themes, email templates and training to help business owners increase their sales to customers by improving or redesigning their existing sales funnels.

Not selling as much as possible to existing customers who would happily buy your products and services is a major problem for most companies according to many experts, including marketing legend Jay Abraham.

Buzzinar is designed to help any marketer or business owner design a sales funnel that filters out the freebie seekers while selling as many front-end, mid-range and high-ticket back-end products as possible to current and future customers.

“With a well-designed sales funnel, you can be in front of your customer when they are ready to buy what you are selling instead of losing them to the competition.” said Ayers of BuzzinarReviews.com.

Martin has included a number of bonuses with the course, including a viral social media plugin that encourages visitors to share on Facebook in exchange for a free report or video.

Despite the concerns of some, one doesn’t need a list to get solid results from the course. Martin goes in-depth into the importance of list building and how to build a list using free traffic and paid traffic.

Move information about the course can be found on the official site here.
