BitNami.org Makes Wordpress, Drupal, and Joomla! Easy to Install on Solaris

BitRock announced today the addition of Solaris support for the easy to install open source software packages on http://www.bitnami.org, a site built to help spread the adoption of freely available, high quality open source web applications. BitNami Stacks are ready-to-run packages that make it easy to get started with open source applications by automating the installation and configuration process. They enable even non-technical users to have open source applications, such as blogging platforms, bug-trackers, content management, portals, wikis and more in less than five minutes.

BitNami Stacks for Solaris include WordPress, Drupal, Joomla! and MediaWiki. SAMPStack, an easy to install distribution of Apache, MySQL and PHP for Solaris, is also available from BitNami.org.
