Crossvale President Jason Sharp Speaks on Drupal at OpenCamp 2010

Plano, TX (PRWEB) August 24, 2010

Crossvale, Inc. (http://www.crossvale.com), a leading provider of tailored integration, automation and portal solutions, announces President Jason Sharp will speak on multi-departmental authoring in Drupal at OpenCamp 2010, Aug. 27-29. OpenCamp is the Southwests first multi-platform web conference, combining Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, .NET, social media, and SEO expertise.

Jason Sharp, co-founder and president of Crossvale, Inc. will present Multi-Departmental Authoring in Drupal, beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29. This intermediate-level presentation offers an effective and scalable solution to a common need for large enterprises as requested on drupal.org forums: authorizing multiple groups of authors to control subsections of a multi-departmental site. The session will illustrate how authors of the same department can edit, review and publish the same subset of content without overstepping content from a different department. Sharp, an Oracle ACE and founding BEA Technical Director, has introduced innovations such as: SOA, enterprise portals, BPM, business-to-business integration, and EAI to major comanies worldwide.

We have had the opportunity to design and deploy private enterprise portals since 2003, refining best practices and expertise for the special cases of these portals, said Sharp. Intranet portals for large corporations and institutions involve a slew of security policies, collaboration scenarios, content types, and legacy system integrations not typically applicable to external websites focused on public access. It is a privilege to speak at OpenCamp this year and present some of our Drupal techniques based on a comprehensive case study.

The presentation content will highlight a rich Drupal 6 case study in which an intranet portal serving 5000 employees for a national media company headquartered in North Texas required support for authoring content across its 14 departments. Attendees will walk away with specific knowledge about key Drupal modules and best practices for supporting multiple non-technical authors of large Drupal deployments.

As previously announced, Crossvale is also a platinum sponsor of OpenCamp. The Company has championed the use of open source technologies since their inception in 2001. Crossvale CEO Conor Brankin stated, Our sponsorship is a tremendous opportunity for Crossvale to give back to the open source community.

OpenCamps sessions cover a broad range from social media to technical development, content creation, revenue generation and more. Attendees will be guided by some of the most experienced practitioners in the country, which will be advantageous for all. We encourage everyone to register at OpenCamp today and join us at this event.

Online Marketing Expert Jason Johns Releases Most Comprehensive Wordpress 2.7 Tutorial Ever

(PRWEB) April 6, 2009

Jason Johns, leading online marketer and WordPress authority, recently released his newest WordPress 2.7 tutorial series ‘WordPress Demystified’ (http://www.wordpressdemystified.com/) for both blogging newbies and professionals alike. ‘WordPress Demystified’ is the most comprehensive training program available for WordPress 2.7, providing step-by-step guidance on how to get the absolute most from the open source weblog program and how to use it successfully.

In a few short hours, ‘WordPress Demystified’ (http://www.wordpressdemystified.com/) shows viewers how to create any type of website, from a membership site to a shopping cart to a normal blog site, even how to make money from a website. Users are coached through the entire process of installing WordPress, configuring it, getting it indexed and ranked on search engines, maintaining site traffic, and more.

Jam-packed with useful tips and techniques, viewers learn worthwhile and applicable skills like how to get a website indexed on Google in less than 24 hours (many times in less than one hour), how to ensure a blog rises to the top of search engine results quickly, how to triple website traffic, and how to stop 99.99 percent of all spam.

The ‘WordPress Demystified’ (http://www.wordpressdemystified.com/) series contains 24 courses that run five hours in total and are presented in an easy-to-watch, easy-to-follow, friendly format. In the videos, Jason expounds upon trade secrets and best practices for generating genuine income via the Internet.

“This is probably the most in-depth WordPress training available, allowing literally anyone to become a blogger online for zero investment,” says Jason Johns.

Not simply an instructional program, ‘WordPress Demystified’ is a fully fledged Internet marketing tool, designed with the sole purpose of helping users get the most from their blog. Want to whip up a functioning website quickly? ‘WordPress Demystified’ demonstrates how to create a completely unique website from scratch in under an hour, including a completely personalized theme. Learn how to build a membership site without spending a single dime, or create authority sites, adsense sites, information sites, and more for free.

Training companies charge $ 1,000 for the information found in ‘WordPress Demystified,’ but Jason has made his expertise available to the public for a fraction of that cost. Normally delivered in a multiple DVD home study course, Jason has managed to significantly reduce the normal price of ‘WordPress Demystified’ by converting it into downloadable segments online.

About Jason Johns:

An online marketing veteran, Jason has successfully worked in the industry for nearly 10 years, the last two of which he’s used WordPress increasingly more until it has become the de facto standard for his multiple websites. Now, nearly every website in his network of sites is set up with WordPress.

Jason is the creator of the ‘WordPress Unleashed’ program, which took the Internet by storm and is now ubiquitous online.

Completely taken aback by the power and usability of the newest WordPress version 2.7, Jason completely revamped his WordPress program to demonstrate to users every powerful feature in version 2.7.
