They can also view their MailChimp lists and campaign statistics on an aggregate level as well as by individual email address all from within Outlook. The contact panel makes it easy for users to check and change a the status of an individual email address in the MailChimp list from the Outlook interface. MailChimp Subscribers just pick an email address and the contact panel shows that person’s campaign activity, what lists they’ve subscribed to, which newsletters theyve received and how they interacted with that newsletter (whether they opened or clicked etc.). Theres also an option to send a contact an invitation to opt-in to a newsletter if they aren’t currently on any lists.

The premium version of the Add-In adds a Sender Status Panel, which brings the Contact Panel’s functionality into Outlook’s email interface. This additional menu makes it simpler for team members to immediately check if an email sender is part of any MailChimp campaigns and how theyve engaged with previous campaigns. It also allows users to easily add brand new contacts to Outlook and MailChimp (pending permission) simultaneously.
