Disruptive Product Data Application (Or Fusion Solutions) From Inforbix

In most manufacturing operations, there is duplication of effort, including redrawing or reworking information that is already available, just not easy to find. We make that information instantly available.

In the Inforbix solution, the user can navigate between connected pieces of data. The system indexes and makes available data from CAD Systems (i.e. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidEdge etc.) and 2D drawing objects. In addition, the system automatically locates and links to product and engineering information in Excel tables, engineering databases, PDM, PLM, CRM, ERP, systems, e-mails and other data sources.

Shilovitsky noted, The cost savings are important, but the big payoff our customers tell us is the elimination of duplicate effort and reduction of the time for the engineering design process itself.

The firms customers include a number of specialty manufacturers who participated in alpha tests and pre-launch deployment of the ground breaking system.
