Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 14, 2010

PERI Software Solutions Inc., a global business solutions company will be featured in this months (June) 20th Anniversary issue of Business Life Magazine. The monthly publication is based in Glendale, California, covering national, regional and business trends and news in tourism, manufacturing, entertainment, international trade, financial services, technology and state politics.

When I founded PERI Software, I knew in my heart that it was going to be a successful business enterprise, President and CEO Sarav Periasamy, PERI Software Solutions Inc. told Business Life Magazine. I love it when my team of engineers can provide solutions to help business streamline their costs of operations.

PERI, a global business solutions company, headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. Earlier this year PERI opened offices in the Wells Fargo Tower in the business district of downtown Los Angeles. Additionally, the worldwide company has offices in San Jose and Chennai, India. PERI started as me becoming a consultant and gradually adding team members, he said. PERI has grown to more than 700 employees and has earned more than $ 50 million since I started it in 1999.

After servicing clients in California and on the West Coast, we realized it was vital to bring our services closer to a rapidly growing technology market. We have just opened an office here, because we believe Los Angeles leads the Pacific Rim in just about every industry and we want to help business grow to meet the technology needs of regional and international markets.”

A recent LAEDC SoCal economic forecast finds that technology, tourism, entertainment and international trade will be leading industries to the economic recovery. Research reveals that the business demand for technology products was very weak in the first three quarters of 2009, when businesses were reducing costs drastically in order to survive the recession. But, demand picked up noticeably during the fourth quarter and sales of technology products held up better on the consumer side.

Periasamy was asked whats the next hot new technology coming up for business in SoCal?

Smart Grid technology, mainly used by utilities, and thanks the Obama Administration will be more affordable to customers and consumers, he said. A Research show that 60 percent of the electricity generated in this country is lost to inefficiencies, and the fact that smart grid technology is green and does not cost more, customers will feel good about saving energy and the environment.

PERI has been offering Smart Grid technology after testing and measuring successful cost saving results over the last two years. We are the Asian Business Owned Smart Grid Technology leader in this space providing end-to-end smart grid business solutions, he said.

Periasamy is scheduled to speak at the California Utilities Diversity Council’s 2010 Green Diversity Summit later this month. The June 28, 2010 Energy Summit takes place at the Sacramento Convention Center. He’ll speak about how he grew his successful company from a small startup to global business.

Personal Hand-Held Humidifying Devices Indispensable to Daily Life in China and The United States

Grants Pass, OR (PRWEB) December 16, 2011

After 20 years of research, Sharon Kleyne, founder of Bio Logic Aqua Research and host of the Sharon Kleyne Hour radio show, has concluded that many common health problems are the direct result of climate change and pollution.

In some regions, air is becoming much drier, causing widespread dehydration diseases. Where the humidity has risen, pollution and temperature increases often offset any beneficial effect and cause cardiac and lung problems. The link between global climate change and mortality rates is alarming. According to recent reports, the mortality rate from global climate change is expected to continue rising and humidity is as important as temperature in predicting mortality.

Sharon Kleyne cites global increases in allergies, use of medication, and drug, caffeine and sugar addiction. The rapid global increase in dry eye disease is a crisis even in the United States, where 80% of eye doctor visits are now dry eye related. The global blindness rate is expected to reach 35 million by 2030.

Indoor conditions and poor lifestyle choices make the dry air problem much worse. Forced-air

heating and cooling, and insulated walls and windows are just as dehydrating as any outdoor condition. The widespread use of computers dehydrates the eyes and can cause fatigue, vision problems, stress, sleep impairment and depression. Depression and fatigue make it difficult to be energetic and proactive in one’s lifestyle choices.

The solution, according to Sharon Kleyne, is to empower each individual to become proactive in creating their own personal healthy and humid environment.

Bio-Logic Aqua Research has become the global leader in the technology of applying pure water in a hand-held humidifying device to instantly moisturize dry eyes, dry skin and dry mouth. In 2009, Sharon Kleyne was awarded a United States patent on the “Kit and method for moisturizing the surface of the eye with pure water.” To achieve this patent, Mrs. Kleyne’s company developed an entirely new technology around mist dosing with personal hand-held devices. These devices have been endorsed by thousands of doctors and used by millions worldwide. Mrs. Kleyne’ company, Bio-Logic Aqua Research, is the acknowledged global leader in personal hand-held humidifying devices.

Sharon Kleyne envisions a day when personal hand-held humidifying devices will be as indispensable to everyday life as lip balm, sunscreen, bottled water, toothbrushes and clothing.

China is experiencing massive health problems due to the infusion of industrial pollution into the air’s humidity; and to increasing desertification. China may soon overtake the United States in the use of personal hand-held humidifying devices.

Forward Inc Web Development uses qTranslate and WordPress to help Real Life Network bring the real Germany to the World

Boston, MA (Vocus) September 27, 2010

Real Life Network is an organization connecting the international community to the real Germany. Their goal is to provide real life guides and resources to international travelers to Germany to allow these travelers to experience attractions, events, people, and places in Germany that you won’t find in the guidebooks or from a travel agent.

Real Life also supports and organizes Language Immersion programs to help foreigners learn the German language via intensive courses and immersion within the German culture.

Forward Inc. developed their site to match these endeavors, including a language translation module that automatically translates the site between German and English. The sites admins can either edit the translation themselves, or leverage Google Translator to make the translations for them. On the front end of the site, a visitor need only click on the English or German flag at the top of the page to see each language.

Not that this front end technology hasn’t been seen before, but this fairly new method of managing languages on the back end makes things much quicker and easier for content admins (and easier on web developers as well).

The module used was a plugin for WordPress called qTranslate and a method called ‘poedit’ was also used to translate some of the non-body text content such as the calendar labels found on the Real Life site.

These new WordPress technologies will make life easier (and cheaper) for many website owners wishing to translate their sites and reach new international markets, and will allow developers to provide language translation to their clients in a much more user friendly and affordable way.

Online Madness: Throwing a Life Raft to Web Design Agencies

Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) April 20, 2012

Technology expert and business Founder Shawn Smith says too many web design agencies are taking on more chaos than they need to when it comes to serving multiple clients with multiple websites.

In the digital age we are now in, websites are obviously a crucial element of any business and some businesses now have anywhere up to five websites for their products and services, said Mr. Smith.

Without a central way to manage the many websites that web design agencies build and often maintain for their clients, the process can become very messy.

Its difficult for web design agencies to keep track of a long line of log-in details, the health of websites, updates of plug-ins and the core software of the content management systems, and this hinders the quality of service they can provide to their clients.

Lacking the right measures to look after many websites simultaneously raises the chances of company websites being hacked, defaced and lost altogether which of course, isnt good for the web design business, not to mention their client!

Having one set of log-in details to access all the websites solves these problems and is far more efficient, making it easier for any web-master to take care of websites in the long term.

As well as spending long periods of time inefficiently in the management of numerous websites, Mr. Smith says there are additional costs for the web design agencies of not managing many websites from one system, including:
