National Safety, Inc. Launches Redesigned Website

Kent, WA (PRWEB) August 28, 2008

National Safety, Inc is delighted to announce the launch of their totally redesigned website for the online purchase of safety supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) at http://www.nationalsafetyinc.com. National Safety, Inc. has been in the safety market for 14 years, selling safety glasses, raingear, flame retardant clothing, fall protection, first aid, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, confined space equipment, ergonomics, fire safety and more to individuals as well as Business to Business.

The new site brings the Web 2.0 experience to National Safety customers with many new features and many expanded features. Users will be able to get live help through the online chat right on the website starting in September 2008. The “Rate this product” feature will allow users to provide feedback as well as being able to view ratings by other users to determine the product that suits their needs best. They will be able to sign up for the bi-monthly newsletter, request a catalog and much more.

“Safety is something that is best lived out in community” says Cindy Parker who helps customers both online and over the phone “Solutions that one customer has found might help someone else, products that they have found beneficial for a certain application will probably work for someone else as well. We want to provide a place where users not only purchase a fall protection harness but also help someone else who might need to purchase a similar item.”

The web developers at Eporia, the Kirkland-based company responsible for the redesign, worked closely with National Safety, Inc. to enhance the site’s usability and navigation. In addition to the ecommerce shopping cart, http://www.nationalsafetyinc.com will also be expanding its database of technical articles and safety related information striving to become a complete source, not only for products but also for pertinent information.

National Safety continues to strive to be customer friendly, “We want to be the easiest and the friendliest company to deal with” says Jeff Johnson, the operations manager; “this means coffee and friendly service when you walk in the door of our facility and it means striving to make the online experience as hassle-free and interactive as possible for our online customers.”

Founded in 1995 National Safety, Inc. began over a cup of coffee between the general manager and four salesmen from Rice Safety. Rice Safety had just been purchased by a large industrial supplier. These five founders believed that their expertise was in personal protective equipment so they set out to form a company that would concentrate exclusively on safety equipment. Over the years two of the shareholders were bought out leaving the present owners and one retired leaving Dick Zugschwerdt and Ron Johnson as the present owned.

National Safety, Inc. continues to operate its business on the basis of its experience in the safety field. “There are literally hundreds of gloves out there” says Annie Freseth, internet marketer “How does anyone decide which one is the best one for them? It will depend on several factors and if you don’t get the right one, it may have detrimental effects. That’s what we are about. We can help you figure which one is right for the job.” The same applies for fall protection, safety glasses, first aid, hearing protection, confined space and all the other products available on their website.

National Safety, Inc. also has an online blog dedicated to safety related issues at http://www.nationalsafety.wordpress.com

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 10, 2012

Like many hospitals in North America, Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) in British Columbia was challenged with providing safe and appropriate perioperative and postoperative management of patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). KGH is a 345-bed tertiary hospital in the interior of British Columbia, Canada.

Richard Milo, RRT (Professional Practice Leader, Central Okanagan Respiratory Services, Interior Health, at KGH) described for me the situation they faced:

“Prior to utilizing EtCo2 technology our site had a significant backlog of OSA/possible OSA patients requiring surgery.

Hudson Valley, NY (PRWEB) November 26, 2012

New York State licensed psychologist and certified forensic consultant, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli, is the author of a technological predator construct, iPredator. His construct explores the dynamics of people who engage in criminal, deviant, nefarious and malevolent activities using Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Robert OBlock, CEO & founder of the American College of Forensic Examiners International. (ACFEI) announces his support of Dr. Michael Nuccitellis pediatric educational moniker, Dr. Internet Safety, to media and the community.

Technological predators and their pediatric victims are Information Revolution dynamics causing devastation to children, teens and young adults throughout all industrialized nations. As stated by Dr. OBlock, As an educator living at the beginning of the Information Age, Ive seen both the educational potential of Information and Communications Technology and the damage its caused humanity. In addition to ACFEIs goal of educating the forensics world of iPredators, it is also vital to educate the pediatric mind. As part of Dr. OBlocks educational model, he will be introducing ACFEI member, Dr. Michael Nuccitellis construct, iPredator, and his pediatric educational moniker, Dr. Internet Safety.

Children of the 21st century are enamored by the novelty of the Information Revolution. To slow the harm to children and all ICT users, Dr. Internet Safety is announcing his availability free to all offline & online media sources (a.k.a., N.Y.S. licensed psychologist & iPredator author, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli). The moniker, Dr. Internet Safety, educates all age ranges, but specializes in educating parents, children and adolescents using net lingo, Information Age developmental psychology and family dynamics.

Child abuse, whether perpetrated by a child or adult, is detrimental to all aspects of their development following them into adulthood. Stated by Dr. Nuccitelli, Dr. Internet Safety was developed to hinder the natural instincts of children to rebel against adults attempting to teach them a caution. Instead of Dr. Nuccitelli educating the community on iPredator dynamics and tech. predator profiling, Dr. Internet Safety discusses how uncool & immature it is to tweet or post how fat, ugly or stupid a fellow student is in their Facebook profile.

Topics Dr. Internet Safety is adept at discussing sensitive to a pediatric consumer base include: cyberbullying, cyberstalking, cyber harassment, cybercrime, online sexual predation, internet culture, mobile device safety, ICT relationship dynamics, cyber psychology & regional/national criminal news involving all forms of ICT.

Dr. Nuccitelli has created a variety of creative templates to use by broadcast & internet radio and online & offline print media including Ask Dr. Internet Safety, Dr. Internet Safetys Top 10 List and On the iCouch with Dr. Internet Safety geared to a pediatric consumer base. In return for Dr. Internet Safetys volunteer time and services, Dr. Nuccitelli requests that the host media outlet encourage their readers, listeners or viewers to work within their communities to design strategies reducing victimization of children using Information and Communications Technology.

iPredator Inc. Announces 2013 Internet Safety Seed Funding Opportunity

Hudson Valley, NY (PRWEB) November 28, 2012

Unlike human predators prior to the Information Age, iPredators rely on the multitude of benefits offered by Information and Communications Technology (ICT.) Malevolent in intent, iPredators rely on their capacity to deceive and harm others using ICT in an abstract electronic universe. New York State licensed psychologist and certified forensic consultant, Dr. Michael Nuccitelli, is in the final stages of completing his Internet safety and Tech. Predator awareness website.

After 3 years of extensive research and growing recognition of his technological predator construct, iPredator, Dr. Nuccitelli and iPredator Inc. announces their 2013 Internet safety seed funding investment opportunity for corporate entities and investors.

Educators, parents, businesses and all citizens must treat iPredators as a societally toxic phenomenon. To thwart this growing epidemic, it is paramount the United States and global community immediately initiate an awareness and educational campaign. This campaign must be aimed at preventing children, adults and commerce from being targeted and victimized through the use of ICT. To initiate this vital first step, iPredator Inc. is offering a seed funding investment opportunity to corporate entities and investors.

As stated by Dr. Nuccitelli, Ive spent 3 long and obsessed years developing iPredator and all my products, services and national awareness building strategies. Whether the seed funding comes from a corporate entity, investor, for profit or not for profit organization, the mission is to plant a seed of fear in the minds of criminals, deviants, abusers & terrorists who use ICT to victimize others. Central to their strategy, the definition of Dr. Nuccitellis construct, iPredator, is as follows:

iPredator: A child, adult or group who, directly or indirectly, engages in exploitation, victimization, stalking, theft or disparagement of others using Information and Communications Technology (ICT.) iPredators are driven by deviant fantasies, desires for power and control, retribution, religious fanaticism, political reprisal, psychiatric illness, perceptual distortions, peer acceptance or personal and financial gain.

iPredators can be any age, either gender and not bound by economic status, race or national heritage. Whether the offender is a cyberbully, cyber stalker, cyber harasser, cyber-criminal, online sexual predator, internet troll or cyber terrorist, they fall within the scope of iPredator.

In the 2011 winter issue of the Forensic Examiner, Dr. Nuccitellis theoretical construct, iPredator, was the feature article. Published by the largest professional forensics education organization in the world, American College of Forensic Examiners International, CEO & founder, Robert OBlock, endorsed Dr. Nuccitellis theory and national educational strategy in November, 2012. In addition to his theory, Dr. Nuccitelli has designed 26 cyber-attack risk assessments, data collection and educational tools for purchase, in which 13 of them can be taken online. These checklists and inventories assess the risk potential of a child, adult or business being targeted by an iPredator.

From a services perspective, Dr. Nuccitelli has developed an innovative advisory based cyber-attack prevention membership service called, iPredator Protected. Similar in structure to car owners who are AAA members offered by the Automobile Association of America, the iPredator Protection membership service gives consumers immediate access to experts trained in identification, intervention, apprehension and prosecution of iPredators.

iPredator Inc. also offers a variety of educational, training and speaking engagement services that can be performed in person or via web conferencing sites. Lastly, iPredator Inc. can assist law enforcement, court systems and other public safety arenas investigation and iPredator profiling services.

As stated by Tina Church, chief ICT investigator and iPredator Inc. partner, It is almost 2013 and society has thrived within the Information Age for over three decades. Is it going to take another three decades before people open their eyes to the victimization of children and vulnerable adults in cyberspace?
