Todd Cardin Named Sales Manager For Pro Biz Designs

King Of Prussia, PA (PRWEB) September 2, 2006

Todd Cardin was named sales manager for Pro Biz Designs. Pro Biz is a total design company based out of King of Prussia, PA. Todd Cardin has joined Pro Biz for a six month period to launch the new companies internet division. Much of Cardin’s focus will be selling web site design.

Since the mid-1990′s, Web development has been one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. In 1995 there were less than 1,000 Web development companies and in 2005 there are over 30,000 such companies. The Web development industry is expected to grow over twenty percent per year by 2010. The growth of this industry is being pushed by large businesses wishing to sell products and services to their customers and to automate business workflow.

In addition, cost of Web site development and hosting has dropped dramatically during this time. Instead of costing tens of thousands of dollars, as was the case only five or six years ago, you can now develop a simple Web site with only a few hundred dollars.[citation needed] As far as Web development tools and platforms are concerned, there are many systems available to the public free of charge to aid in development. A popular example is the LAMP which is usually distributed free of charge. This fact alone has manifested into many people around the globe setting up new Web sites daily and thus contributing to increase in Web development popularity. Another contributing factor has been the rise of easy to use WYSIWYG Web development software, most prominently Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver. Using such software, virtually anyone can develop a Web page in a matter of minutes. Knowledge of HyperText Markup Language or other programming languages is not required.

The next generation of Web development tools leverages the strong growth in Microsoft technologies to provide the Web as an application platform. Web developers now assist in delivering applications as Web services which were traditionally only available as local applications. So instead of running executable code on a local computer, users are interacting with online applications to create new content modalities. This has created new paradigms in communication and created many opportunities for decentralized information and media distribution. Users are now able to interact with applications from many locations, instead of being tied to a specific workstation for their application environment.

Examples of dramatic transformation in communication and commerce led by Web development include e-commerce. Online auction sites such as E-bay have changed the way consumers consume and purchase goods and services. Online resellers such as Amazon.com and Buy.com have transformed the shopping and bargain hunting experience for many consumers. Another good example of transformative communication led by Web development is the blog. Web applications such as WordPress have created easily implemented blog environments for individual Web sites. Also, collaborative Web spaces and online communities such as MySpace and open source content systems such as Xoops, Joomla, and Drupal have extended Web development into new modes of interaction and communication.

Todd Cardin is excited to be a part of an exciting company like Pro Biz and hopes that in 2007 he can integrate his answering service companies with Probiz to provide a full service communications to small businesses everywhere.

James Jolley talked about several aspects of Mozy during the interview including company facts, service offerings, what makes them great, and future releases.

When asked about how Mozy stays ahead of the competition, James answered, Regarding security, Mozy recently successfully completed a SOC 1 SSAE 16 Type 2 audit and received ISO 27001 certification. The number of online backup service providers that have completed both the SSAE 16 audit and the ISO 27001 certification is extremely small. Stash allows customers to securely access their files from the Mozy website or mobile app. Customers can also sync files nearly instantaneously between computers.

Digging into what Mozy offers, Online Backup Search asked James about some of their basic plans. MozyHome with 50GB (1 Computer) is $ 5.99/Month said James. This is their lowest paid plan.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 12, 2012

Cloud Storage Reviews (http://cloudstoragereviews.co) interviewed Alexander Negrash of CloudBerry about their desktop software which allows users to directly connect to Amazon S3 and other online storage providers. He discussed many details during the CloudBerry interview including their history, products, features, and future plans.

Alexander talked about the history of CloudBerry saying In 2008 we started to use Amazon S3 as the main cloud storage. I must say that today, having AWS console, tons of documentation and dozens if not hundreds of Amazon S3 related software, it is not so hard to exploit S3 as it used to be in 2008. But back then it was only for developers. And that was the issue for us too and we started to develop CloudBerry Explorer. The intent was to create a simple desktop client with file manager functionality to help store and manage files on S3.

Cloud Storage Reviews inquired further about the products offered by CloudBerry. Alexander explained, We also offer Managed Backup Service powered by CloudBerry Backup and Amazon S3 cloud storage to service providers and resellers who looks for a powerful and reliable Cloud Backup service to grow their business and offer exceptional cloud backup service under their own brand.

Alexander talked briefly about some of CloudBerrys main features. He said, CloudBerry Backup is very flexible in terms of functionality. Users can setup real-time or scheduled backup plan with compression, encryption, block level backup, intelligent bandwidth scheduler, alerting notifications, etc. Our development team constantly working on developing new features.

At the end of the interview, Alexander mentioned future plans about their products. This includes a new product called CloudBerry Drive. He explained, …(CloudBerry Drive) will mount cloud storage as a local drive and make CloudBerry Backup a version of CloudBerry Backup specifically designed to backup applications such as MS Exchange and MS SQL Server.

Events Manager Takes WordPress Events to a New Level

(PRWEB UK) 31 August 2012

Events Manager was born in 2008 out of love for coding and contributing to the ever-growing open source community. With dedication and resolve to create a complete suite of solutions for those wanting to host and promote events on their sites, EM quickly became the most popular Events plugin on WordPress.

Due to such a large and growing demand for features, support and integrations, a Premium add-on was introduced, which extends on the capabilities of the free plugin with sought-after features such as priority support forums, payment gateways and custom form editors. This in turn helps fund the free version and support, and therefore has established EM as one of the most active communities on the WordPress support forums.

Marcus Sykes, the lead developer of EM, emphasizes some of the core principles of this plugin and what it sets out to achieve; “not only were we able to create free software that thousands of users can benefit from at no cost, we have consequently also had the opportunity to take this plugin to a new level, providing support to both free and premium users, extended documentation and many more feature additions.”

Events Manager has a comprehensive set of features to enable both experienced and novice users to host events and manage registrations out the box with minimal setup. Moreover, it also has the capability and flexibility to provide experienced users and developers the means to highly customize and tailor the plugin to their own needs.

Events Manager could be thought of as an Events framework for WordPress, and the premium add-on, Events Manager Pro provides a perfect demonstration for how the free plugin can be extended to the limit of a developer’s imagination, and the community

Events Manager Takes WordPress Events to a New Level

Sunday, 13 January 2013

(PRWEB UK) 28 December 2012 Events Manager allows website owners to publish events as well as accept payments and manage bookings or registrations for these events directly from their website without the need of third party software or services which charge commissions or monthly subscriptions. An ever-growing number of features are also available to help users publish and display events on their websites, including but not limited to event submissions, event calendars, ical and rss feeds, custom formatting options, organization by categories or tags and much more! Originally launched in 2008, Events Manager quickly grew out of its original one page home into its own website, which needed a refresh to accommodate the continuously growing resources available to free and pro users alike. This new design not only demonstrates the capabilities of the plugin via fully functional online demos and trials for a full suite of events solutions but also displays extensive documentation and useful tutorials in a much more digestible format. Moreover, in the spirit of allowing for maximum accessibility and ease of use, the website is designed using the latest standards to allow mobile and tablet users to easily access and navigate the numerous useful areas of this site without having to resize their screens or zoom in and out to view different areas of any page. Marcus Sykes, the lead developer and founder of NetWebLogic (creators of Events Manager) comments, “The most important thing we feel that has been achieved in this redesign is that not only have we built a solid foundation which we will now be able to regularly improve and add to, but we are now also in a position to focus more on what matters most, which is providing great ongoing support and innovative features to help our users make the most of this plugin and make their events an even greater success.” Alongside this new website, Events Manager Pro, the premium add-on to the freely available Events Manager plugin, now also has a simple pricing plan which is all-inclusive and only differs with regards to the number of sites required. Due to popular demand, a developer license has been created to allow power users to use the plugin on multiple websites at an attractive price. This means that customers get all the features available at any pricing plan without any added or hidden costs; the only decision that needs to be made is how many websites the plugin will be used on. The Events Manager plugin has continuously been releasing new features on a regular basis. Shortly after releasing the new website, the plugin authors also released a complimentary (and also freely available) plugin which makes Events Manager compatible with the popular WPML plugin, which enables users to create events and translate them into various languages on a multilingual WordPress-powered events website. This is a sign of things to come and shows 2013 to be a very promising year for taking events to the next level.
