Dental Marketing Strategy: IDA Announces Dentist Social Networking Tools to Engage New Patients

(PRWEB) February 23, 2012

Internet Dental Alliance, Inc. (IDA) announces its new dental marketing strategy that allows doctors to meet prospective patients where they gather on the web. Social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter and Yelp are the most popular way for people to ask their friends for recommendations and share information online. In response, IDA created dentist social networking tools that can be easily integrated with any social networking profiles that a dental practice may already have.

The success of social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Tumblr, Orkut, WordPress, LiveJournal, TypePad and others means that social networking tools need to be included in every dental practice marketing plan. However, successful social marketing requires maintaining an active presence, which can be overwhelming (or impossible) for busy doctors.

“That’s why IDA designs customized dentist social networking strategies that are easy to implement. For example, websites and portals can be completely integrated into a dentist’s personal or professional Facebook profile,” says Jim Du Molin, dental patient marketing consultant and founder of Internet Dental Alliance, Inc. “Individual Facebook pages can be built for each market segment a doctor wants to target, including geographical locations, and specialties such as dental implants, braces & orthodontics, Invisalign

dunnhumby Engage Reactor for Annual Report Design & Mobile App Development

Exeter, Devon, UK (PRWEB UK) 1 June 2012

This week sees the publication of dunnhumbys internal annual report, delivered to over 1900 employees worldwide in print and delivered in a mobile app.

The company chose Reactor Design in a competitive pitch with London design agencies. The brief submitted was for a 32 page report and a mobile app that delivered the report on iPhones, Android smartphones, iPads and tablet PCs.

Often, design and marketing agencies outside of London are rarely considered for prestigious projects with large companies. said Tim Mann, Creative Director for Reactor. Were pleased to have been chosen by dunnhumby. Though were a graphic design and marketing agency in Exeter, Devon, weve shown that the quality of our design and our work ethic competes at a national level.

The cross-platform mobile app delivers the annual report with a series of mini games designed to engage users with a personal experience, in tune with dunnhumbys ethic that the worlds experience of retailers and brands must be personal.

“Reactor surpassed all of our expectations in their response to our brief. They quickly got to grips with the unique dunnhumby culture and designed something for us that pushed all boundaries, but stayed within our guidelines. The creativity of the process stood out from start to finish and it was energising to work with such talent. As always seems to be the case with jobs like this, we ended up throwing the Reactor team some unexpected curveballs, and they dealt with these with a can-do attitude and complete professionalism. Feedback from our employees has been amazing and this is the best Annual Report to date.” said Steve Vinall, Internal Communications Director at dunnhumby.

Reactor have developed a number of mobile apps to date including a 3D thruster game, a shapes game for kids, and a trade show mobile application game called Crown & Glory for Wired Orthodontics (available free in the iTunes store).

Were very proud to have worked on this design project and look forward to taking on more projects like this in future. said Mike Saunders, Managing Director of Reactor. Were rapidly developing our capabilities in terms of mobile app development as well as HTML5 and were raring to take on more of these challenging and interesting projects where we can produce something great in partnership with our clients.
