Bessed.com Introduces "Search without the Spam"; Human-Powered Engine Lets Visitors Add To, Alter Search Results

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) October 3, 2006

Combating spam with human editors and immediate visitor feedback, Bessed (pronounced “best” and found at http://www.bessed.com) has created a new search model designed to make search more satisfying. Instead of relying on robots to rank sites, Bessed uses living, breathing humans to create search results. Even better, Bessed is built on WordPress blog software, allowing site visitors to add to, subtract from, and re-rank sites via comments they leave directly on the search results page.

“Bessed has found a sweet spot where search, blogging and social media combine,” says Adam Jusko, Founder and CEO of Bessed. “Not quite a traditional search engine, not quite a directory, not quite a wiki, but pulling from the best of each, Bessed is something completely new. The result is a site with the potential to increase search relevancy for visitors while eliminating the frustration that legitimate Webmasters feel when trying to get their sites noticed.”

The Bessed model solves multiple problems that frustrate users of existing search services. Bessed offers:

Spam-free search results, thanks to human editors

The ability for searchers to provide immediate feedback, continually improving search results

The ability for visitors to offer commentary on a person, place or issue in the news. Because Bessed is built on blog software, it allows for conversation in the same way conventional blogs do.

Free Web site submissions and individual page submissions, with no “sandbox” to escape in order to be included

“Our goal is for Bessed to become a trusted, top-of-mind resource for searchers and Webmasters, says Jusko. To accomplish that goal, we need to hear the voices of our visitors. Stop by, give Bessed a spin and tell us how to improve to meet your needs.”

Lady Boomer Lifestyle Survey Results Released by The Kitchens Group

Maitland, FL (PRWEB) March 28, 2011

The Kitchens Group has released the results of a national survey of 553 Lady Boomers- women between the ages of 46-65. The survey confirms the Boomerang Phenomenon is alive and well living in Mom and Dads increasingly cluttered nest.

Boomerang Kids- those young adults who leave home with youthful idealism and excitement about the adventures awaiting them, only to ricochet back to their rooms when life out of the nest, with its pesky responsibilities, thwarts their efforts at independence.

More than half (52%) of Generation Xers and Millenials have moved back home or are financially dependent upon their boomer parents. Survey results indicate 1 in 5 of these boomerang kids are still on the family dole. Money isnt the only issue either. Sixty percent of the Lady Boomers participating in this online survey say they are 911 on their childrens cell phones. The survey asked, When your grown children have a problem, do they usually call (1) Mom- 60%, (2) Dad- 8% or (3) do they tend to handle the issue on their own-32%. These results as well as others documented in the survey, indicate Lady Boomers really have managed to do it all- be available to their kids and be workaholics in their careers (56% work more than 40 hours a week).

This internet survey of 553 Baby Boomer women was conducted February 14-March 14, 2011 using The Kitchens Groups Knet survey methodology, an Internet survey method which has been academically reviewed by social scientist from four universities. Banners and Free Training Videos Boost Affiliate Marketing Conversion Results According To Superfastbusiness.com

Sydney (PRWEB) July 31, 2012

In his latest affiliate news update video, Internet marketing expert James Schramko announces new banners that members of his affiliate program can utilize to sell WordPress websites and hourly work. Using web banners is an online advertising strategy that works by embedding an advertisement onto an affiliate company’s web page. This advertisement encourages visitors to “click through,” and is designed to attract traffic to the advertiser’s site. For every web user that finds his way to the advertiser’s site after clicking the banner on the affiliate’s website and purchases a featured product, the affiliate receives a commission from the advertiser.

Livejam.com, Schramko’s website development company which specializes in building websites that generate leads and information sites that allow companies to tell their customers about their business, now allows affiliates to sell WordPress sites without having to be a reseller. Schramko takes the hassle out of the entire process for the affiliates by requiring them to simply send over the websites and hourly work; web development teams would then be ready to look after all the sales, pre-sales, and support details.

The CEO also reminds affiliates in his news update that Internet traffic service provider Spaghettibowl is no longer part of his affiliate program. He instructs companies to replace banners with the new LiveJam.com banners as SEO programs will be added this week.

In addition, Schramko also announced that banners for FastWebFormula are performing well. Fastwebformula.com is the Internet business coaching forum community he established to share valuable training materials with committed intermediate to advanced online marketers. Serving as a thriving coaching community for e-commerce store owners, affiliate marketers, online service providers and digital agencies, and local business consultants, FastWebFormula helps members speed up their learning process and pick up important information and techniques for improving their Internet business.

Eight brand new videos have been uploaded to the FastWebFormula YouTube channel and Schramko encourages affiliates to pick a video that they can feature on their own sites; using banners helps promote the FastWebFormula brand to more potential customers. The videos cover a diverse range of Internet marketing subjects such as choosing the best marketing distribution channel for information product delivery, building an email list of lifetime customers, improving time management skills, and getting targeted website traffic to increase sales.

“It’s a recurring commission, so remember to promote FastWebFormula,” Schramko emphasizes. “Grab a relevant and informative video, embed it in your site, and put a banner or a link right next to it so people can watch the video and be encouraged to come along to FastWebFormula and join.” The end result, the CEO says, would be a win-win-win situation all around: web users joining the coaching community will benefit from the excellent marketing materials, affiliates will receive a handsome commission, and Schramko will be able to effectively widen his reach throughout the online community and welcome new members aboard towards the path to Internet marketing success.

Smart Use of New Technology Results in Advanced New Website for Developer of Charleston Real Estate

Charleston, SC (PRWEB) November 18, 2010

When it comes to using technology for business, the real estate industry is not known for being a leader in innovation. But a developer of master planned communities in South Carolina recently launched an advanced new website that employs a unique combination of interactive tools to help market Charleston real estate in its flagship community, Daniel Island.

Our goal is to be a leader within the industry when it comes to using technology, says Carolyn Lancaster, Vice President of Marketing for the Daniel Island Company. But budgets across our industry have been hit hard the past couple of years, and our company is no exception. Its forced us to work smarter and try to achieve more with less.

When Lancasters team set out to overhaul their three-year old website, http://www.danielisland.com, they were faced with a budget that was a fraction of what their previous site cost to develop, and the challenge of creating a superior tool for marketing residential property within the 4,000-acre master planned community in Charleston. Among the teams objectives were to integrate the companys new property database and CRM system, include a comprehensive content management system (CMS) that would allow the site to be updated in-house and on the fly, and to incorporate a customized, searchable interactive map, all while maintaining the companys established high-end branding standards.

A contract project manager was tasked with bringing these elements together and keeping within budget. Several strategies helped the team pull off their goals:
