Retired Racehorses Thrive With Proper Care and Retraining Tips for Creating a Healthy Environment for Your Thoroughbred

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 12, 2007

Racehorse rescues and retirement programs have successfully placed thousands of retired Thoroughbred racehorses into new homes. Ensuring that the new owners successfully transition and retrain their Thoroughbreds is one of the primary missions of Wood End Farms (http://www.woodendfarms.org), a 501(c) 3 charity located north of Chicago that’s devoted to the care, retraining and rehabilitation of retired racehorses. The care a Thoroughbred horse receives can play an instrumental role in the success of a horse’s transition into its new job as an eventer, a trail horse, or a dressage star.

“Racehorses in training are accustomed to an environment that is very different from that in most show and pleasure barns,” says Nicola Birch, the founder and director of Wood End. “They’re accustomed to a strict routine, are confined for most of their days, are working hard, and they’re fed a rich diet. Taking a horse straight from the track and putting him in a pasture can cause a variety of behavioral and health problems that can surprise well-intentioned new owners.”

Birch notes that Wood End has developed a variety of best practices for Thoroughbred care that that support ex-racehorses as they transition from the track and start their retraining. Key pointers Birch offers include these:

Establish a routine and follow it. Horses crave routine. At Wood End, horses rotate between spending time in turn-out and in their stalls. This provides both variety and routine, and the horses benefit from being handled several times a day.
High-quality feed is a must. Though retired racehorses will need less protein than those in training, good nutrition plays a vital role in developing strong, healthy hooves, and helping the animals’ bodies recover from the rigor of racing. Pasture and new feeds should be introduced gradually to prevent the horse’s digestive system from being upset.
Racehorses are used to activity. Barns that have open-front stalls, windows and wide aisles are comforting to busy, active Thoroughbreds. A bored or isolated horse will be stressed and can develop bad habits such as cribbing or weaving in the stall.
Understand that the training a racehorse receives is far different than for riding horses. Stark differences include the fact that crossties are not used at the racetrack, for example, and riders mount while the animal is walking. A retired racehorse will need to be schooled in the basics, and will need to unlearn some behaviors.
Give your new ex-racer a job. Thoroughbreds are eager to please and thrive when working. During the transition phase, while you’re letting your horse down from the track, groundwork can be an invaluable tool to keep your horse busy and start his learning process.

About Wood End Farms

Founded in 2004, Wood End Farms specializes in the care and training of Thoroughbred ex-racehorses. The organization’s mission is to promote Thoroughbreds’ suitability for pleasure and performance disciplines, and to support Thoroughbred owners by providing expert education and resources.

Tips for Better Mental Health in 2009

Dublin, OH (PRWEB) January 5, 2009

Many clients have recently asked Dr. Brandemihl how they can achieve their New Year’s resolution of improving their mental health in 2009. With the stress of a struggling economy and growing demands from their jobs and families it can be quite difficult. “There are several things you can do on a daily basis to find that balance, but self awareness and prioritizing are key,” said Dr Brandemihl. “It’s important to learn to recognize your stressful feelings and emotions, so you can quickly find effective ways of dealing with and preventing them.”

Dr. Brandemihl said that, “Stress may often trigger anxiety. Anxious people may find themselves worrying excessively, not sleeping well, and feeling tense, on edge, distractible and irritable. Life stressors may also lead to symptoms of depression including sadness, crying spells, and lack of pleasure in life. Depression can sometimes trigger sleep and appetite disturbances as well as feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness or even suicidal thoughts.”

“There are several things you can do proactively to prevent depression and anxiety from developing or worsening,” said Dr Brandemihl. “Some techniques are very easy to implement.”

1. Maintain a regular sleep schedule. Go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time. Avoid naps longer than thirty minutes as they may disrupt your nighttime sleep.

2. Eat a healthy, balanced diet and get thirty minutes of cardiovascular exercise three times a week through something as simple as walking. The malls can be a good place to walk on cold, winter days.

3. Journal or blog to have an outlet for your feelings or emotions. You can even throw the paper away when you’re done writing if you are a private person. The important aspect is having an outlet for the feelings.

4. If you are unemployed (or even if you are not) find somewhere to volunteer between interviews and searching. This helps your self esteem and also helps to maintain some structure and purpose in your life.

5. Participate in religious or spiritual practices, preferably with others, to foster a sense of fellowship and hope.

6. Communicate to your family and friends that you are feeling “sad”, “stressed” or “anxious” so they can reach out a helping hand. If family or friends are not around consider a support group either online or in person.

7. Refrain from drug and alcohol use as this can exacerbate or cause depression and anxiety. Also avoid excessive amounts of caffeine as it can contribute to anxiety.

8. Find a new hobby or interest that involves socialization to help foster new relationships.

9. Adopt a pet (only if you are able to care for it). Their unconditional love and daily needs provide reassurance and structure to your life.

10. Consult a mental health professional when in doubt! Meet with a psychiatrist and a therapist.

It has become more common and socially acceptable to utilize mental health services. Dr Brandemihl said, “No matter how hard some people try to stay positive and be proactive they still may feel depressed and anxious. These people may have a chemical imbalance that requires psychiatric medication, but only a physician, or preferably a board certified psychiatrist, can determine that.”

Buckeye Psychiatry, LLC is located at 5060 Parkcenter Avenue, Suite F in Dublin, Ohio, just north of the Mall at Tuttle Crossing. Appointments may be made by calling 614-766-5205 and are generally available within 1-2 weeks. The Ivy Mount Guest House Introduces the 5 Top Tips to Beat the Hotel and Bed and Breakfast Recession in the New Year

(PRWEB) December 15, 2010

If you own a hotel bed and breakfast that is struggling to keep afloat, there are some quick and easy steps to pull you and your business through the New Year (2011). These steps can possibly even earn you more money in the process. They can get more customers through the door, plus establish more regular clients; try the five steps and become a success.

The Ivy Mount Guest House (http://ivymountguesthouse.com/) in Manchester England has implemented these five steps and its turned the business around in a matter of months.

The best thing about it is that some of the steps are free (eg: TripAdvisor/ raising prices)

Step 1 is the most important step of all: your website is like your shop window- you are displaying what you have to sell. You should spend the most time on this step and make your website as personal as possible. Dont just let some web designer who has not even been to your business or does not know the area you are based in do all the work.

Put some personal touches in, be proud of your website.

Regarding the online booking agents, only use them until you get on your feet and the bookings start flooding in from your website. The commission fees can be expensive, but dont forget, a full room is better than an empty one.

The event days tab is a great way of getting some extra revenue. “In my B&B when Manchester United are playing or there is a concert in Manchester, I slowly realised I was one of the only people who were not putting the prices up,” said Paul Carroll. “The demand was so great that I was turning away around 30 to 40 people on these days. All you have to do is increase your prices on these days by 15% or 20% and reap the benefits.”

And finally, join TripAdvisor, the largest free online review and travel website in the world. “I could talk about this for hours- about reviews, displaying, answering reviews, displaying the sign on the website, etc,” said Carroll.

The 5 steps are;

1. Get a web site

2. Join TripAdvisor

3. Join some booking agents (laterooms.com; booking.com)

4. Change prices on event days

5. Get a “book now” tab on your web site

Speaking about the five steps, leading expert Paul Carroll said, I have been in this business all my life, and the changes over the last few years have been so dramatic. Only a year or so ago, you used to wait for the phone to ring, or a knock at the door for bookings. Now its all faxes, emails, texts, etc. It’s all mostly computer generated, but by trying my five steps on your business, you can watch the changes happen over night.

10 Tips to Build Brand Values Into Your Rewards Program

New Brunswick, NJ (PRWEB) January 10, 2012

1) Innovation

Innovation requires that people are engaged beyond their actual job descriptions, goals, and daily activities. It means they understand not only what they do each day, but what others do and how improvements can impact performance and relationships. Many times, people with innovative ideas are seen as a threat by peers because of the uncertainty of change. But change is an important part of growth. Rewarding people for Bright Ideas can be a collaborative and community culture. Todays rewards and recognition programs use a variety of techniques to encourage participation. From a suggestion box to peer-based recognition, to Spot Awards, and an actual Spotlight On, innovation is inspired by 360-degree participation by people. Often, the kind words people share with each other can inspire self-confidence and further thoughtfulness and creativity. Choose a solution that allows for reporting that includes tracking and measurement to demonstrate progress and momentum.

2) Teamwork

People work hard all day, but may never get to really know the people around them. Structured team meetings can only go so far, and are often exclusively focused on corporate goals. The opportunity to earn and participate in a group travel experience provides employees with an opportunity to develop lasting and meaningful relationships through activities designed to engage and delight. These shared experiences create memories that last a lifetime and add value to the team relationships and organization well beyond the cost of the trip or event. Team recognition programs can be used as a strategic business component to drive performance, setting divisions and regions to compete. Friendly competition is designed to build camaraderie within a business unit. However, the metrics established must balance criteria in order to have a fair and productive internal engagement. Customer satisfaction, rate of cross-selling success, or any other form of team measurement can be recognized on leader board postings. By leveraging peer-to-peer, manager recognition and thanks rewards, you can build evidence of teammates helping each other. Teamwork can be demonstrated by setting a plateau milestone for a team, and can be celebrated using collective success team rewards, or through individual rewards. A sense of an elite team can be accomplished via group travel for sales teams or teams that lead in living the brand values.

3) Customer-Focused

More than the old adage, The customer is always right, your customer-focused culture requires being proactive in engaging customers and ensuring their satisfaction, almost anticipating issues before they arise. Operationally, it costs much more to win a new customer than it does to keep an existing customer, so your bottom line can be severely damaged by customer churn. By recognizing and rewarding outstanding customer focused employees, you demonstrate the importance of exceeding expectations in satisfaction. Choosing awards and rewards that are meaningful to the employee makes a difference to them (by demonstrating your level of caring) just as their caring resulted in customer satisfaction and retention. When looking at the reward for saving a customer, look at the lifetime value of that customer, the overall cost to earn business in a similar engagement, the cost of operational integration, the cost of marketing and sales youll find that the reward for outstanding customer-focused behaviors should be one of your top priorities. Depending on your industry, you may not be allowed to reward a customer for being loyal. But you can reward your team member who valued the relationship enough to constantly deliver the customer-centric brand promise that makes your offer meaningful.

4) Respect

When holding employees in a position of esteem or honor, you can use a Winners Circle to talk about best practices of top performers. When using sales promotions, contests, or instant awards, you show employees that the company respects their efforts and achievements. When your corporate value is respect, you have to acknowledge that an award, recognition, or reward is also a demonstration of respect. When people are allowed to collect their accolades much like they would in stamp collecting or more recent trends in Social Media games (such as Farmville), the volume and depth of respect and recognition can be shared with existing peers, management, and new employees. Respect is conveyed in listening to Bright Ideas, appreciating the milestones of service and achievement, communicating success through leader and message boards, and in recognizing examples of behaviors that contribute to a positive work place such as wellness, education, and safety. Choose a solution that offers a Managers Toolbox of automated reminders: Respect is also demonstrated in remembering!

5) Growth

Growth can be correlated to breadth and depth of offerings, geographic footprint, revenue, brand recognition, experience, and knowledge. If growth is a core value of the company, look for solutions that can recognize achievements in those areas. Solutions can allow for cumulative, cross-pooling of points to demonstrate an individuals growth and increase the value of the reward for the individual. Some people will collect points for the sake of having a lot to show others will cash them in as they achieve levels. Still others will save for a big ticket item. Look for a system that keeps a record of achievements and allows participation to reflect the individuals personal style and pride in recognition. You can choose a solution that tracks sales achievements, referrals, ideas, education accomplishments, safety consciousness, wellness goals, and even kudos from managers and other employees. Your solution should be flexible to allow for attributes that match the growth goals of your company and the growth goals of individuals.

6) Safety

In many corporations, focus on safety can be the difference between serious injury and/or life and death for employees and/or customers. Commitment to a safety mindset is imperative, whether in procedures, facilities, awareness, precautions, or regulatory requirements. Recognizing achievers in safety (teams or individuals) helps raise awareness of your safety culture and reminds your team that safety is synonymous with more than just risk it can also be synonymous with rewards. Your investment in rewarding safety-conscious activities can do much more than protect against litigation, it can help prevent loss and injury, and even save lives. Often as business pressures mount from other areas, or as morale is undermined by external factors, safety consciousness can waver and the results can be devastating. Keeping safety top-of-mind can be a positive and uplifting experience for the entire corporate culture, with rewards and recognition demonstrating personal success that impacts everyone. Recognition of safety achievement is documented evidence to the value in which a company holds its people.

7) Quality

Quality is a common goal in corporations, often referring to attributes of excellence and superiority. Just as quality metrics can vary (quality of research, education, service, manufacturing, materials; reducing rejection, and error; and improving satisfaction, responsiveness, presentation, preparation, ideas, thoroughness, and speed) depending on the company, so too can the mechanisms for recognition of quality vary and be perceived differently depending on the audience. One way a company can support the message of quality is to be certain that the rewards presented to employees for their achievements are held to the same standards. It would be inappropriate to present a shoddy plaque to the person who is being recognized for quality in his/her performance and contributions to the company. It would be equally unacceptable to present an award with little or no preparation. As a rule,

A Web Developers Virtual Toolbox - Tools and Tips of the Trade

Ireland (PRWEB UK) 6 July 2012

PixelApes (http://www.pixelapes.com) are based in Ireland and offer various services including print design, web design & development, and web hosting. Throughout the seven years we have been in business we have come across some great productivity tools that enables us and our clients to communicate efficiently and work productively .

Prior to 2010 our core team of two worked from a single office space, and up to that time our virtual toolbox had been relatively simple. This changed when our web developer, Alex Leonard, relocated to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Initially it was to be a working holiday but he liked it out there so much that he stayed for two years.

Since then weve had multiple relocation’s, working between Cambodia and Ireland; Cambodia and South Africa; and, Northern Ireland and South Africa. Our current situation sees us split between Dublin, Ireland and Ballycastle, Northern Ireland.

As a result of these relocation’s and the new experience of distance-working, our virtual toolbox has had to adapt.

Our projects vary hugely; print design, web project consultation, simple brochure websites, bespoke web development, search engine optimisation, and more. Our clients are based all around the world too: Ireland, United Kingdom, Norway, Canada, United States, Cambodia, New Zealand; and include NGOs, artists, small to medium enterprise, charities, e-commerce websites, and more.

Design and Development:

Certain applications are a given when working on web and print. The Adobe CS suite is one of those. Illustrator is our primary tool, with InDesign being used for brochure print work, and occasional usage of Photoshop although we prefer using vectors where possible on our design work.

Graphics tablets have also become a necessity, with the Wacom Intuos range being the preferred option.

From a web development point of view, were currently rocking Aptana as our IDE, although still do miss StyleMaster for fine-grained CSS control which hasnt been actively developed in a long time. SQLYog and MySQL Workbench co-exist as useful tools for database planning and management as they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Weve also been finding Diagram.ly useful for quick and easy sitemapping and increasingly indispensible is Balsamiq (http://www.balsamiq.com) Mockups for wireframing.

Life in the cloud:

With regard to distance-working, weve become much more dependent on cloud computing than before. SpiderOak has been mission-critical for us, ensuring complete file-synchronicity between multiple machines in multiple locations. Their service is well-priced and includes versioning and encryption. We really would struggle to stay on top of local file management without it. Even with SpiderOak, we still find quite a lot of use for Dropbox.com as a lot of clients already use it.

For invoicing, whilst we used to use the solid open-source BambooInvoice for several years, it ceased development and we migrated to Freshbooks.com which offers an extensive feature set and makes it easy for us to issue invoices & receipts and get a quick overview of what payments are outstanding.

For project management we use TeamworkPM.net. Our clients are always impressed by the functionality on offer and weve been absolutely delighted with the level of service offered by http://www.teamworkPM.net. The TeamworkPM developers are insanely quick to respond to any support queries or feature requests. We can manage multiple projects in one location and easily stay on top of what tasks are assigned, who theyre assigned to and when theyre due for completion. Its also much easier to track communication within TeamWork than it is via email and for people not using Dropbox they can easily upload larger files without having to send them via email.

Weve also been relying on Google Docs more and more, just for the simple collaborative power of it. Whilst it falls short on more complicated word document layouts, its invaluable in numerous cases, and also helps us keep track of our accounts.

Interestingly, a new development that looks like it may provide some benefits is Google Plus – namely the Hangouts feature. Were currently working on a project where its very useful for us to have a Hangout with our client , as the three-member client team tend to be in different locations all the time. I think it could become a very useful tool for us.

Another aspect of our business is providing managed-hosting. We maintain a dedicated server which is well specified and resides in co-location space in Park West, however with our frequent re-locations and our server administrator being based in Cambodia, weve stopped maintaining a back-up server locally. This has moved to the cloud and were happily utilising Amazon Web Services for this. It gives us great flexibility and ensures low costs for our redundancy commitments.

Round Up:

The last few years have been fascinating, and its been amazing to see how the digital office and workspace has enabled much greater flexibility in our working methods and given us the freedom to work in far flung locations across the world.

If youve ever thought that distance working and a digital office is not possible, wed like to point out a small company whose software powers 15% of the top million websites in the world and has a workforce spread across over twenty countries. Who? Automattic, the company behind WordPress.

Online Backup Search announces new guide entitled, "5 Cloud Backup Optimization Tips"

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 13, 2012

Online Backup Search (http://onlinebackupsearch.com) released their new article outlining five tips that help people optimize their cloud backups. The editors of Online Backup Search tips are to improve the upload speed and reduce backup times. The tips covered are: prioritize your backup, upload by type and size, schedule backups, folder selection, and backup regularly.

The guide first covers backup priority. It explains that it’s important for people to plan out their backups according to which files are most important. Uploading important data first will make it safe sooner. Then move onto less important files for backup.

The next tip is to upload by type and size. According to the guide, media files like movies, photos and music can take a long time to upload. It explains that some backup software has the ability to filter out file types or size. If set up to filter out large file types for the first few backups, the backups will go much quicker.

Scheduling backups is the next tip. The editors point out in this tip that you can upload much quicker on nights and weekends then during the day because less people are using the internet.

The guide then recommends that people double check their folder selection to make sure none of the wrong files get added to the backup queue by mistake. The guide says, “…what if you have 30 GB’s of TV shows or movies in there? That will take forever.”

The last tip is to backup regularly. The guide points out the more frequently people backup, the less time new files or changes will have to build up the total size of the backup. The smaller the total backup’s size is, the quicker it will upload.

Steven Johnson, Senior Editor, said, “The first backup always takes a while. People should plan to back up important files first. This reduces the load of the first backup and gets your files safe, quickly. Hopefully with these simple tips, people will be able to save more files in the long run by backup up faster.” (Online Backup Search releases 5 awesome backup tips)

Coolchecks.net Founder Sherry Tingleys New WordPress Plugin Financial Tips Gives Bloggers Fresh Finance Content for Readers

(PRWEB) November 07, 2012

Sherry Tingley, founder of leading business checks website Coolchecks.net and principal writer of her popular, newly re-designed personal finance blog, has launched an innovative new WordPress plugin called Financial Tips, which helps finance and money management bloggers give their readers and search engines — a regular stream of fresh, topical content.

Tingleys Financial Tips plugin features informative personal finance tips, quotes and more. Bloggers have the choice of simply displaying the plugins steady supply of quality content, or they can just as easily create their own categories to display content that fits their particular niche. They can even instruct the plugin to update their content on a daily, weekly or monthly basis the choice is completely theirs.

Producing interesting and topical financial content is challenging, commented Tingley. Even the most prolific bloggers can struggle with writers block, or simply run out of hours in the day to produce quality, fresh content for their readers. Fortunately, the Financial Tips plugin is designed to help make the content generation process automatic and effective.

Tingley also notes that a regular dose of fresh, compelling content is just as important to Google and other search engines as it is to todays demanding readers.

Some websites have been hit hard by Goggle’s constantly changing algorithm updates — especially Penguin and Panda, stated Tingley. Providing fresh, unique content is essential for maintaining search engine rankings, and ensuring that rankings stay strong, regardless of what Google has in store for the future.

Tingleys new Financial Tips plugin is available now for free at: http://www.coolchecks.net/blog/wordpress-plugins-financial-tips.html . After downloading the file, bloggers simply need to upload it to their WordPress directory, and then activate the plugin. Screenshots are available from the website above.

Added Tingley: Part of my mission is to help support financial literacy, particularly around the area of controlling personal debt, which I believe is our countrys most important economic challenge. Its my sincere hope that this plugin not only helps bloggers, but ultimately, helps individuals get on-track for a stable, secure and successful financial future. It doesnt happen overnight, but with the right advice and plenty of discipline, its a realistic and attainable goal.

Latest SuperFastBusiness News Focuses on Straight Out of the Box Responsive Wordpress Themes and Easy Website Navigation Tips

Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) September 03, 2012

With a consistently growing number of people accomplishing their online activities through their mobile devices, SuperFastBusiness brings to readers attention the important strategy of making websites responsive and very simple to navigate. These strategies are easy to implement through the exciting offerings of SuperFastBusiness.

James Schramko, Internet Marketing expert and CEO of SuperFastBusiness easily defines the term responsive as more or less a skin for your WordPress that will adjust when it meets different screen resolutions. Traditionally a responsive theme will work across 4 different web sizes. Theres a tool that people can use to check what their websites look like in various screen options. He adds, When your website hits a different screen size, your website should be viewable by scrolling vertically without having to go horizontally and it will also make the images the right size. All this can be done without plugins if people have responsive themes for their WordPress sites.

It takes a substantial amount of work and money to make custom websites responsive, though; experts are required to properly code the websites so they can work across different screen sizes because a lot of themes are not responsive out of the box. While there are free plugins that can be used to make websites adapt to mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers, these plugins typically have their own themes that do not necessarily make websites look the same on a small screen as they do on a standard big screen, which can be rather confusing and difficult to navigate. However, with the pre-made, straight out of the box responsive WordPress themes which are available through ATLWeb, these issues can easily be addressed.

To those who are not sure if their website needs to be responsive, Schramko recommends looking at analytics, it will tell you the percentage of people who use a mobile device. What you will find is that on some blog sites, you got a high mobile usage and then the more commercial you get; you might start to drop down a little bit on the mobile usage.

He also claims that more than anything, making sure that the websites are easy to navigate is very important. Keeping everything relevant and useful; providing all the information (such as contact details and history of the business) most people look for in an easily viewable manner; and not to flooding the site with numerous plugins are some more of the experts valuable instructions.

With regard to plugins, Schramko advises conducting a website check to see which plugins are present and if they are working compatibly for easy viewing. He says that its also a good idea to back-up websites using something like BackUp Buddy (a smart WordPress plugin that backs up WordPress sites – not just content but themes, SQL database and other plugins that come with the complete WordPress package) for a big plugin change. Those who do not have the technical know-how for this may go to ATLweb.com and order a 5-hour pack which includes a wide range of services such as WordPress health check for SEO, as well as, security and compliance, and even tips or advice about hosting or moving sites from one site to another.

Schramko also mentions other related products and services, directing those looking to buy a website thats already been built to VREDirect.com for domains and websites for sale and those interested in using animations to SuperFastVideos.com. This is where you supply us an audio track and then we animate it with around 20 custom pictures. Theyre handmade for you. Theyre not stock images; theyre not made with some cartoon generator. These are original pictures. So you can get around about 20 custom images put to your soundtrack and well animate that for you.

Building Up High-Converting Keywords and Author Status: James Schramko Shares Internet Marketing Tips in Latest Video Update

Sydney, AU (PRWEB) September 27, 2012

What you should be doing is focusing on your high converting keywords. This is the first tip that Internet marketing authority James Schramko shares in his latest video update on SuperFastBusiness.com. The online business expert offers advice on how website owners can take advantage of these keywords:

If you track conversions and you should track conversions from any other traffic source such as pay-per-click marketing or articles or press releases then you should use those key phrases to create brand new posts. Those brand new posts should be the target of your campaign. I suggest you rotate your target key phrases every month and keep building up an army of blog posts that work for you, Schramko states.

In addition to focusing on high-converting keywords, Schramko also advises website owners to manually create blog post titles and Meta descriptions for articles to further enhance website rankings in search engine results. He shares that WordPress blog owners can easily do this using plugins:

[For WordPress blog owners,] you can write the title that sells and then usually underneath your blog post you will have the SEO override. If youre using a plugin like Yoast, then you can actually write your own Meta description and your own title for that post thats different to that headline in the post so you can get the copywriting version for the customers and the SEO version, Schramko shares.

Schramko proceeds to encourage website owners to further improve SEO results by continuously publishing blog posts. He shares that providing content on a regular basis can help bring more visitors to websites, even to e-commerce stores:

According to Schramko, If youre looking for a simple action step, this week, create three new blog posts around three new phrases and publish them. Keep publishing new blog posts even if youre an e-commerce store. Create how-to guides and video demonstrations [because] this is how you drive traffic even to an e-commerce store.

Another way to boost website rankings, states Schramko, is by building up author status. He shares that this can be done by strengthening the social signals of a website and by using pictures in social networking profiles, particularly for Google+ accounts. The latter is particularly important since author mark-ups can be seen along with content that has been created by the author.

Schramko then shares more information about a new SEO video package from SEOPartner. He invites online entrepreneurs who are interested in using videos to enhance search engine results to simply outsource SEO services to the experts at SEOPartner. Schramko shares what the team can do for website owners:

What you can do is make videos and just give them to us. We will upload them to your [YouTube] account and well put a really good video description. Well make sure the title is perfect. Well put tags and then well create original content and support your video by linking back to the video. It will push your video up in the YouTube search results, it will push it up in the Google video search and youll get more traffic to a high converting medium, Schramko explains.

He shares one particularly attractive advantage of working with his team: the low cost. He states that the average cost of SEO for other companies may be in the thousands, while his team can do the same for much less: Today I saw on someones website that they charge $ 5,000 for a keyword research report and an SEO audit. We charge $ 799 for that. Thats why more than 80% of our customers are on a re-order.

Schramko ends his video by inviting viewers to check out the newest version of Traffic Grab, a product that he released last year. Members of Traffic Grab will also find new videos from Schramko detailing the best and most up-to-date traffic strategies.
