JustArticles.com Reveals the Truth about the Role of Blogs in Internet Marketing and Web Site Promotion

Columbus, IN (PRWEB) January 27, 2006

Blogs are taking the Internet by storm and for good reason. Blogs make it easy to publish content to the web on a regular basis and the Internet is all about content. By publishing articles on a regular basis to a blog webmasters increase the overall size of their site, which contributes to better search engine placement and page rank.

No one knows web content like the blog design experts at http://www.JustArticles.com. According to Dustin Cannon of JustArticles.com, blogs are the perfect content management solution because they allow for effortless publishing and are indexed by the search engines quickly. In addition to keyword articles written on demand a large part of our web content business is integrated content based Internet marketing which primarily includes custom blog design and publishing as well as press release and article distribution. We are finding that the results for our clients who implement custom search engine optimized blogs are nothing short of amazing. Their article pages are being indexed very quickly resulting in new search engine results and consequently more traffic. Blogs are really an essential part of our content based Internet marketing packages, says Dustin.

Although JustArticles.com offers blog designs using software from Blogger.com as well as wordpress.org, JustArticles.com recommends and prefers to use Googles Blogger.com software for custom blog designs because of the ability to create custom templates that perfectly match a clients web site. According to Dustin, Blogger.com blogs create are super easy to use and create clean, easily optimized HTML pages and are fully customizable in contrast to some of the other blog design applications that are PHP based and only allow for head and footer customization.

Initially, some of our clients express concern over Blogger.com blogs in response to information they have seen in SEO and webmaster forums about the limitations of Blogger.com. Aside from the ability to easily create categories, Blogger.com does not have any limitations from my perspective. In fact, the blog design experts at JustArticles.com can create blogs using Blogger.com that have categories. One of the concerns also has to do with rumors that Google will shut down Blogger.com blogs without reason. The problem with this concern is that most people have not heard the whole story and probably do not really understand the problem. If anyone has had their blog shut down it is maybe because they were involved in unacceptable marketing practices like link spamming. Regardless of blog software you use if you are operating a blog or site with nothing but affiliate links and no real content then your site may be penalized by not being indexed so the end result is the same. This can happen regardless of what blog software a site is using. Google appears to be cracking down on these practices and for good reason. Web site that are filled with nothing but affiliate links and pay per ads click run the risk of not being indexed by the search engines. There is nothing wrong with affiliate links and pay per click. They just cannot be the sole purpose of a site or the site will not be successful. That is why blogs are so effective. Blog owners who are playing by the rules have nothing to worry about. Blogs are for publishing content that is informative and valuable to web search visitors. If webmasters will focus on doing that then the traffic will take care of itself. Publish content to your blog and this will bring in the traffic. Doing Internet marketing right leads to long term success and profits.

Since taking over JustArticles.com in January 2005, Dustin has taken the site from a page rank of 1 to a 5. Traffic and sales are exploding for this king of web content. Maybe that is why they can guarantee client’s success with their content based Internet marketing programs. “We essentially promise increased traffic to our clients within 90 days by a money back guarantee.” says Dustin. “It is this desire to provide value to our clients that has given us the edge.”

Growthink Reveals 5 Simple Strategies to Revamp Your Website on a Budget

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 18, 2012

While a business owner should be an expert in marketing and not on building websites, there are 5 simple things that any business owner can do to revamp their website and increase profitability, according to Dave Lavinsky, president and co-founder of Growthink, Inc. an entrepreneurial strategy consulting firm.

Lavinsky outlines his 5 simple and affordable website enhancements:

#1: Set up a blog

Even if you don’t have a website, you can go to WordPress.com and create one for free. Or download WordPress and install a free WordPress theme (google that-there are hundreds out there) to your existing site, said Lavinsky.

#2: Post at least once per week

According to Lavinsky it is important to make a new blog post at least once per week, and to announce these new blog posts on Facebook and Twitter, as well as to email subscribers.

For your blog posts, think about what your customers and visitors want to see and learn that’s related to your industry and product. What are their interests and concerns that you can address? If you solve a problem, what topics on prevention can you touch on that help them out? Lavinsky said.

You can also write about what you see in the news, and add your commentary. It’s up to you, but the tried and true method is to ask your customers what they want, and give it to them.

Enhancing online visibility via the search engines is another essential blogging benefit that Lavinsky is keen to highlight.

Importantly, the more blog posts you have, the more likely you are to be found on search engines, which will bring more and more potential customers to you at no charge.

#3: Make & Upload Videos

If writing isn’t your thing, then making short and simple videos might be even better. Get out your wireless phone’s camera and film a 60-second video of you explaining how to clean out a garbage disposal, if you’re a plumber, for example. Upload the video to YouTube, and publish it for all to see. Then click the “Share” button on your video’s page and get the “embed code” to paste onto a new post on your site, said Lavinsky.

Lavinsky also advices to add some textual content to the blog post such as a keyword-based title (e.g., “how to clean out a garbage disposal”) and text above the video (e.g., Check out the video below where I show you how to clean out a garbage disposal”). This will help each blog post rank better in the search engines to get more traffic, he said.

#4: Add Tools for Sharing

On the Growthink blog, there are little buttons saying ‘Share on Facebook’. These buttons are called “badges,” and can be installed on a website with relative ease. Lavinsky advises entrepreneurs to have badges for Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus on their site.

This can be done in a pretty straightforward manner, said Lavinsky. Each of the sites have support pages to guide you through the process, so your best bet is to google phrases like “how to add twitter badge to website” and you’ll find the instructions needed for your type of blog.

Or you can use services like ShareThis.com and AddThis.com that allow you to quickly and easily add sharing buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, LinkedIn, and more, said Lavinsky.

#5: Register with Business Listing Sites

Lavinsky recommended a number of local business sites where entrepreneurs can list their site for no charge.

These sites don’t take much time to get listed on, and they will drive traffic and boost your SEO rankings, said Lavinsky.

According to Lavinsky, the most popular business sites are as follows:

Google Places
Yahoo Local
Bing Local
Yelp.com
Manta.com
Merchant Circle.com
Online Yellow Pages sites

Lavinsky advises all business owners to add these 5 simple tips to their to do list in order to generate more traffic for their website.

Study Reveals that 69% of Mobile Phone Users Take Them Everywhere

Perth, Western Australia (PRWEB) August 21, 2012

Recently, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) presented a study to a group of industry insiders. The study was entitled, Mobiles Role in a Consumers Media Days: Smartphones and Tablets Enable Seamless Digital Lives. The study covered personal habits of the average consumer and how mobile phones impact their daily lives. Most attendees agreed, though, that the study holds far-reaching implications for businesses, both now and in the future.

The study was performed on 50% men and 50% women, and broken into age groups starting at 18-29 and finishing at 65 and older. The research was also split evenly between tablet and smartphone users. The study drew some conclusions which provide great insight into possible business strategies from here forward.

The most surprising finding was that 70% of tablet users use their tablets primarily for entertainment, while a near-equal 69% of smartphone users see them as an essential part of their lives, and say they never leave home without it. While smartphone users keep them on their person all of the time, 91% of smartphone users in the study report that they use their smartphones primarily at home, along with 97% of tablet users.

The study also showed that the time of day and the location makes a difference. Most report that they are most likely to use mobile devices during down time at home. While smartphone use is more common, users are more easily engaged on tablets. Users also use smartphones simultaneously with other activities, such as watching TV or reading newspapers, books, or magazines. Approximately a quarter of those who use smartphones and tablets report that it is changing how much they watch TV or read printed media.

30% said they spend $ 20 or more on their smartphone every month, but 46% said they spend the same amount on their tablets.

So, how does this all fit together and what does it mean to business owners and the general public? According to Kirk OConnor, Director of Development for Spanky Media, First and foremost, smartphones and tablets are changing the way business is done. As more and more people purchase and use smartphones and tablets, we are seeing a virtual migration of shoppers to mobile devices.

OConnor continued: Think about it. Thirty years ago, most shopping was done by going to bricks and mortar stores, with a reasonable but small percentage done by mail order. Ten years ago, the Internet made a huge impact, and a lot of bricks and mortar operations, including giants like Borders Books, went out of business. And now, just when it seems like most businesses are comfortable on the Internet, the smartphone is changing the game again.

When OConnor was asked how smartphone use is changing the game, he answered, In this era, businesses have no choice but to make it more convenient for smartphone users to do business with them. From the local restaurant to the multi-million dollar retailer, any business that doesnt optimise their website for mobile phone use is leaving money on the table. On the other hand, smartphones and tablets represent a great opportunity for businesses to reach more customers.

New James T Noble Report Reveals the Dangers Digital Sharecropping Presents to Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs

London, UK (PRWEB) September 20, 2012

Established marketing authority James Noble announced today the publication of his new report on the dangers that digital sharecropping presents to businesses. The report examines the major issues small businesses and entrepreneurs face and offers constructive advice to support them. The report is available now here.

Digital sharecropping is a term coined by Nicholas Carr to describe the situation that many online businesses find themselves in. Mr Carr has been quoted as saying the following:

One of the fundamental economic characteristics of Web 2.0 is the distribution of production into the hands of the many and the concentration of the economic rewards into the hands of the few.

This means that businesses using platforms such as Facebook, WordPress or eBay dont actually own any of the content produced on those platforms and are at the mercy of any change those platforms decide to make at any time, whilst the aforementioned platforms are profiting from the content created by those businesses. James Noble had this to say on the matter:

Social media platforms, sales platforms and website and blog hosting platforms are something businesses use every day and they are fantastic marketing tools, but they do come with risks attached. He went on to explain it is essential that businesses must be aware of the risks digital sharecropping creates for them.

Mr Nobles new report aims to make small businesses and entrepreneurs aware of those risks and offers easily actionable steps you they can take to minimise them. When asked what he hoped to achieve with the publication of his report on digital sharecropping, James commented:

Knowingly or not, most enterprises engage in digital sharecropping for one or more aspects of their business. These days its hard to imagine a successful business that doesnt use any online platforms and with good reason those platforms are excellent and can provide incredible benefits. He added Im certainly not suggesting businesses abandon these platforms entirely. My aim is to offer businesses the valuable advice they need so that they can continue to use those platforms, but can also manage and adapt their strategies to get the most benefit with the most minimal risk possible.

The report contains clear guidance and information and advises businesses on key strategies to ensure they are informed and aware of any issues and maintain balance. It gives valuable support designed to help them avoid potential pitfalls associated with digital sharecropping and move their businesses forward. James Noble’s straightforward approach ensures that the advice given in the guide is accurate, concise and easy to follow.

Software Mogul Reveals Business Strategies At Internet Marketing Speed By James Schramko

Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) October 08, 2011

Online business expert, James Schramko, interviews design genius turned software developer, James Dyson in his recent post on Internet Marketing Speed. Dyson has been Schramkos long time web designer and is responsible for the layout on most of Schramkos business websites, including Internet Marketing Speed. In this interview, James Dyson reveals how he went from designer to being an entrepreneur and how he generated a million dollars in less than a year.

(Listen to the full interview available as podcast and downloadable mp3 on http://www.internetmarketingspeed.com/)

As stated by Matt Mullenweg in his State of the Word address, software development is a business that is now quite popular. WordPress, being an open sourced CMS, now has over 15,000 plug-ins available developed by independent programmers from around the world. James Dyson is among those exceptionally successful in that area. He has taken every one of his designs proven effective, and bundled them up into one product called Optimize Press now one of the most popular add-ons for WordPress explained Schramko.

James Dyson is a young man from Sheffield in the UK, to whom Sydney-based James Schramko, turned to for designs to optimize the layout of his business websites over the past 5 years. He has successfully entered the software business after spending several years as a designer himself, and developed an automated system that gets him the same results for his clients, just as before, but with far less effort.

The interview also reveals essential tips for entrepreneurs wishing to build a business in the software industry. Exploring a niche, as it is with every business type, is critical in deciding which market to enter.

James Dyson has devised a simple, yet very effective strategy, in which he taps into the user-base of an existing and already quite popular system. The results are nothing short of astonishing, as proven by the profits he has generated in less than a year since the launch of Optimize Press.

Unlike most software tycoons, Dyson operates his million-dollar business with the help of a very small but talented team consisting of four members, including him. This, according to Dyson, keeps operational expenses very low allowing for a greater margin of profit.

The interview also talks about how to start a software business without having to rely on investors to fund a project. It also reveals further strategies on how to reduce support strains after a product has been launched.

Coordinator Reveals Why The James Schramko Fast Web Formula 3 Event Was A Success

Sunshine Coast, Australia (PRWEB) October 31, 2011

From October 28-30, 2011, James Schramko, widely regarded as one of the most genuine and strategic internet marketers in the world, conducted the third in his Fast Web Formula series of training events – the only one for 2011. According to the event coordinator, Kerry Finch, many factors combined to make this one so very successful.

Many of those present had either attended James Fast Web Formula, Fast Web Formula 2 or one of his earlier workshops — so they were building on a solid foundation. said Ms Finch. Because of this they were perfectly placed to identify how these new learnings could be applied to their current businesses.

The Fast Web Formula events are known for the delivery of emerging trends and analysis of new tools for growing online businesses. Guest presenters are chosen by Schramko for their expertise in very specific areas, and all have one thing in common – they are the real trendsetters in their fields.

The strategies that were shared by James, and his niche experts, were cutting-edge. In many cases they were yet to be shared with others in the internet marketing world, explained Ms Finch.

Participants traveled to Australia from the US, Canada, the UK, Singapore, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates to attend FastWebFormula 3. They created what Ms Finch described as a dynamic networking environment — an opportunity for them to meet face to face to celebrate their successes and seek guidance on any challenges they face.

Niche experts included:

> Leanne King, known as WPQueen for her intimate knowledge of the WordPress CMS. She created a live website build from stage in just minutes, using a plugin that awed the audience.

> Google Adwords expert Mike Rhodes, who dispelled many of the PPC myths and identified Adwords best practices

> The SuperAffiliateGuy, Andy G, who traveled from Switzerland to reveal some of the strategies he currently uses to test and measure his campaigns

> Jennifer Sheahan, from FBAdsLab, who cut through the myths and misconceptions about facebook marketing – a little controversial in parts

Of course, for many the highlights were the James Schramko sessions said Ms Finch. James revealed his new Mafia Plan, showed the tools he was now using to streamline his business, and discussed and demonstrated how he tests and measures every facet of his hugely successful online business.

Acknowledging that not everyone was in a position to travel to Australia for FastWebFormula3, Schramko had the full three day event filmed, and the digital download is now available for pre-order at http://www.fastwebformulas.com

“The Ultimate Landing Page System has quickly become the talk of the town across the entire online marketing community,” reports HonestyFirstReviews.com’s Tiffany Hendricks.” Whether marketers are focused on list building or improving conversion rates for CPA offers, The Ultimate Landing Page System is proving to be a valuable tool for gaining a competitive advantage.”

Charles Kirkland and Jason Parker, the creators of The Ultimate Landing Page System are both successful internet marketers who have spent years split testing landing pages for their own marketing promotions. Kirkland and Parker’s software which can be installed onto any WordPress powered website allows users to automatically generate landing pages incorporating Kirkland and Parker’s best converting web page templates, custom graphics, Johnson boxes, countdown timers, exit-pops, and other web page elements.

Hendricks explains why winning landing pages are so important for online businesses:

“As all seasoned online marketers know, internet business success really depends on just two simple factors, traffic and conversions,” says Hendricks. “If you want to make sales, you need to get people to your web page, and then once they are there you need to ‘convert’ them into paying customers, or at least into leads that you can follow up with via email. Kirkland and Parker’s Ultimate Landing Page System is a push button simple solution to the conversion side of this equation.”

The Ultimate Landing Page System is available now at a special pre-release discount. In addition to instant access to The Ultimate Landing Page System, customers also receive free group coaching with Kirkland who normally charges $ 3000 for consulting.

“The opportunity to get coaching with Charles Kirkland for the price of a WordPress plugin is really quite exceptional,” says Hendricks. “That, plus the fact that every internet marketer out there needs killer landing pages, makes this Ultimate Landing Page System offer a real no brainer.”

Fiction Author Reveals Murder ConspiracyArizona Real Estate Developer Involved

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) November 19, 2012

After the recent death of Lance Underphals wife, the crime scene photographer woke up plagued by premonitions. The double shooting of an Arizona real estate developer and his mistress/bookkeeper sent Underphal over the edge. A scenario like this seems like it would be pulled from a murder mystery novelwhich is exactly what it was. This is a glimpse into new author Michael Allan Scotts newest fiction book, Dark Side of Sunset Pointe, written to engage and entertain adult readers.

Scott approached the writing of his book in a unique way; he outsourced a lengthy market research study to see exactly what mystery novel readers want to read. The study revealed that over 60% of readers were interested in a scenario that could happen in real life.

Scott isnt the only author who understands that actual events make a mystery novel more believable and compelling. Elaine Hirsh, writer for onlinemastersdegree.com, said, thrillers and mysteries based on real events bring relevance to otherwise bland stories, which gives chills to readers that are harder to dismiss. She later goes on to list well-known novels that are based on real events (albeit embellished by authors) (1):

The Exorcist, by William Peter Blatty, was made popular because of its graphic film version. However, before the film shocked the world, it was a novel based on the 1949 exorcism of a young boy.

The Girl Next Door, by Jack Ketchum, is based on the crime of Sylvia Likens, a young girl whose parents left her with a near total stranger while they worked in a traveling show. Her guardian retained custody of Sylvia for three months, during which she tortured Sylvia until her death.

In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote, is perhaps the most famous true crime novel of all time. It is based on the 1959 murders of a family in Kansas. The research for the novel was conducted by Truman Capote and Harper Lee, author of To Kill a Mockingbird.

In Scotts newest mystery novel, Dark Side of Sunset Pointe, he uses his experience as a real estate professional to create an authentic plot with relatable characters.

Dark Side of Sunset Pointe is scheduled to be released November, 2012:

Frank Salmon, the hard-boiled homicide detective on the case, comes to see Underphal as an asset. Salmon uses Underphals prescient visions to piece together hard evidence. But the trail goes cold until a double homicide at a fast food drive-thru leads back to the shady developers death.

Salmon pursues the clues through twists and turns, leading him from a popular strip club to a failing community bank, adding a blackmailing strippers murder to the body count.

I learned what makes an engaging story from my favorite mystery novel authors, market research and my own personal experience, commented Scott. My readers will connect better if they can picture something similar happening in real life.

About Michael Allan Scott:

Michael Allan Scott was born and raised at the edge of the high desert in Kingman, Arizona. He started in early 1978 by forming a commercial real estate company, but for years secretly wrote stories and poetry for his own satisfaction. His works include Dark Side of Sunset Pointe, due to be released in November, 2012, and Flight of the Tarantula Hawk, due to be released in the spring of 2013. Scott uses real-life scenarios as inspiration for his novels. His murder mysteries contain strong language, violence and sex, and are rated R. New SuperFastBusiness Update Reveals Design and Optimization Enhancements for Wordpress Blogs to Improve Ranking and Conversion Rates

Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) July 30, 2012

Great news for those who have been trying all sorts of strategies to improve the ranking of their WordPress blogs/websites without results, online marketing expert, James Schramko recently released tried and tested methods to improve page ranking and conversion rates for those using the popular Genesis theme.

To help his audience maximize the results of the Genesis platform, Schramko shared three important tips, including descriptions of how-tos and their benefits. The first one is about putting a custom description for every post. Schramko explained, Quite often with a new Genesis install if youre not using any WordPress SEO plugins then it may not be putting a description at all. He included an image guide to help users locate the description field.

The second tip involves going into the SEO settings and allowing Genesis to follow tags and categories. According to the SEO expert, provided that only 1 or 2 categories and 3 or 4 tags are used, doing this may actually increase the number of pages that are indexed for a site and get it more potential traffic.

As for the third tip, Schramko urged his viewers to install external links plugin for them to be able to tick a box that says no follow external links. He elaborated, So when you put a link to an external site it wont follow that and it will actually hold the page rank on yoru site. This is important now since the major search engine update called Penguin. If you use one of your sites to promote your other sites you may want to have no follow links so that they dont think youre some kind of paid link network.

The Internet marketing coach continued, The other thing is you can open links in a new window because people can click on links that go away from your site and do whatever they do and when they close that window or theyre finished, your site is still there. So if youre advertising something or youre an affiliate, then you may actually get more than one chance at people finding your content. They might go off and do whatever theyre doing, come back and find something else.

Schramko moved on to talk about conversions, declaring that, web design is very important. His tips centered on creating a completely appealing and cohesive appearance by making sure that all features mesh well together. Make sure that you code the forms on your site to match your site so they look good and theyre integrated, and …that your opt-ins are also coded to blend in nicely with your site and to look good, he advised, adding a valuable observation: What we found works really well is putting your opt-in form above the fold (no scrolling required) with a video player.

Another important design customization the update revealed – which a lot of website owners do not think to do – concerns making the header thinner. According to the Internet marketing authority, doing this instantly makes better use of the primary viewable region of the page.

To wrap up, Schramko referred those who would like assistance with tweaking their own WordPress sites to SuperFastHelp.com or ATLweb.com. He invited, Take a 5 hour package and treat us like your back of house service supply and well give you a ticket. You just go into the ticket and say do this do that and our team will be on it. Theyll track the hours and when weve used up all the time well let you know and you can go and get some more. And thats how it works really well for us.

James Schramko regularly comes out with updates regarding business and online marketing news.

Solo Entrepreneurs Spur Growth of Ecommerce with Money-Making Niche Websites, Reveals American Writers & Artists Inc. in Recent Report

Delray, FL (PRWEB) December 18, 2012

Doing business on the Internet may seem overwhelming to many.

But it turns out that while big companies like Amazon.com and eBay are in the headlines, thousands of small-scale, solo online businesses in super-targeted niches are quietly making millions of dollars collectively.

These entrepreneurs are tapping into their hobbies, expertise, even life and work experience to create successful money-making niche websites.

Creating simple online businesses has never been easier, says American Writers & Artists Inc. Co-Managing Partner and Vice President of Online Marketing, Rebecca Matter. Nowadays free tools like WordPress do all the heavy lifting. All the business owner has to do is provide content. And that means writing skills, not technical ones, are most important.

Because these businesses are based on one of the owners passions in life, writing articles, blog posts, and other content for the site is second nature and even fun. Copywriters with skills in marketing and advertising writing do especially well with these types of sites, which in many cases are spare time projects for extra cash.

An American Writers & Artists Inc. member profiled in the report, Karen McCamy, uses her site to indulge in her love of archaeology, specifically human evolution, Mesopotamia, and Mesoamerica. She sells educational materials, mostly to students. Its a perfect part-time business that allows her to care for her elderly father

Another American Writers & Artists Inc. member profiled in the report, Nancy Hearn, is passionate about water quality issues – specifically in ways to combat dehydration and reducing water pollution. Nancy writes reviews of water filtration systems and makes $ 1,000 to $ 3,000 a month from affiliate online sales.

This is a business model ideal for writers who want to do business online but dont want to get caught up in customer service, refunds, and other time-consuming activities. Their affiliate partners are responsible for all that.

In a time of high unemployment and distressed retirement accounts, small-scale money-making websites can provide much needed cash for current expenses and for the future.
